Rainy Day story challenge

I might join in on this one, I haven't decided yet. The idea of a sexual encounter in the rain interests me though, in fact I already have several ideas for one.

I'm working nights at the moment, and it's getting in the way of a lot of things I want to do, including writing. Let me know how long I've got to decide and I'll get back to you.

Thx

Carl

Sorry, missed this earlier

One of my higher rated stories, mine turned out to be. Perhaps because it was only read by those of us in on it :) However - 4.79 from 28 votes, 5124 views. 6 PCs, four from fellow contestants.

Unfortunately, due to PC (computer, that is) problems I've lost all feedback emails between 30 August and 25 October, so can't quote a favourite. My story was set on Gor, the fictional world created by John Norman and one thing that pleased me was that several feedbacks commented on my use of his 'voice' in telling my tale. Of course, after submitting I've since found out he dislikes people writing Gor stories! :(

I received great PC's from all of you...which, I love ~ but this one is from a reader/author who I don't know, so it was really nice.

This is good work

I love reading stories when I can tell the author truly enjoyed writing them. This short story is poignant and down to earth. Keep writing!

Each one of you give me wonderful PC and votes...and I love that about each of you...The PC's that you write I believe are from the heart - so, I think all 11 PC's were my favorites...

Favorite feedback....honestly that's really complicated. So I'll cheat and say I loved the feedback from all of you, it made me all warm and fuzzy to hear that you liked it.

To pick one of my favorites: Cantdog's email - because he really took the time to critique and point out some weaknesses that I had never seen before in my writing. I'm not posting the whole thing because it was long, but THANK YOU SWEETIE! I really do appreciate it.

All she did was ask, on the Illustrator's thread. It worked. Other visitors to the thread have done the same.

Shhhhhhhh! They're supposed to believe I hold some magical sway.

Certainly I don't mind all of us celebrating Imp. I am, after all, rather biased on that subject.

However...

Mat needs to be given credit as the originator of the challenge that led to these stories. And all of you who wrote for it and illustrated for it need to take credit as well.

As wonderful as she is, Imp could not sell or interest anyone in a volume full of sub-par work. This volume certainly owes much to her efforts, but she would be the first one to remind you that it is the overall quality of the work that is so...well... impressive.

Give my love the credit she deserves, but save some for Mat and for yourselves. There is a difference between dangerous pride and being rightfully happy about your own achievements. Enjoy your success, it's not a bad thing.

I thank you for that, but all I did was persuade a group of degenerates to do what they do best - write dirty stories. If Imp hadn't run with it in the CT series, they would all simply be languishing in our portfolios. Kudos to Imp for the vision that has inspired a whole raft of CT Books.

 I can't keep my activism at bay. It inserts itself in every aspect of my life. However, I meant what I said when I bumped the thread:

WE've come a loooooooooong way, baby!

(And we're just getting started.)
