Regardless, he isn't qualified to opine about the black experience in America. Every time he throws out that "I'm not white" trope when people are debating BLM, etc, he comes across as playing the race card from a very weak hand.

What is a "Black experience in America?" because native born Blacks and African Blacks report vastly different experiences.

Proportionally, more Blacks live in poverty which is a direct function of the age, marital status, and education level of their parents. Impoverished people of any color (who also find themselves in poverty as a direct function of the age, marital status, and educational level of their parents) have similar experiences. Skin color, no matter how much racists want to insist it does, has little to nothing to do with it.
