Once in a while if I get home from work early I see the second half of Maddow. She definitely criticizes Obama and other Democrats from time to time. It's kind of like Bill O'Reilly criticizing Republicans, it happens. This isn't news.

The difference is that you get the feel from people like Maddow and Stewart that their criticism of the left is genuine and heartfelt, as is O'Reilly's of the right. But when folks like Limbaugh, Beck, and Hannity spend .05% of their time criticizing their own side and then make a huge deal out of "we go after both sides OMG" you get the feel that they're bullshitting you... to try to falsely gain credibility.

I agree, while I dont agree with everything Maddow or O'Reilly say, I do get the feeling they both have an honest opinion, and aren't afraid to criticize their own party when its needed.
