a. Zimmerman is 1/2 Peruvian and 1/2 white. Media considers him white because of they way he looks.

b. President is 1/2 black black and 1/2 white. Media considers him black because of they way he looks.

c. Tiger Woods is 1/2 black and 1/2 Asian. Media considers him black because of they way he looks.

Do you consider this to be stereotyping by people and/or the media

Nobody is blaming the victim, people don't have all the facts, so both sides of the controversy are valid until they do. people are innocent until proven guilty.
Including black kids in hoodies walking through predominantly white gated communities?

A) Zimmerman is white because he's white and looks white. Just like you can be black and british or white and South African being Peruvian doesn't prevent you from being white.

B) Obama is black because he's black and he looks black. Unless your claiming that if he were in the 60's he'd be allowed to ride in the front of the bus politely STFU

C) Tiger Woods is and has been for some time Camerasion as he makes a bit deal of acknowledging all his races. If you followed his career, at all, you'd know he's gotten progressively less black as thime has gone on.

a. You have no knowledge on this. I said "Peruvian" as a trap, and you fell for it - no offense, I knew someone would. His mother is clearly of South American heritage, and looks it. You made an assumption about what Peruvian meant. Zimmerman is what's known as Hispanic and Caucasian mix. Why does the media not recognize that fact? Are they lazy?

b. I won't bother with this one.

c. I do not care about what Tiger Woods calls himself. I am concerned what other people call him. And it's "black."

a) No he doesn't. I've never seen his mother but she obviously isn't but so dark skinned.

b) Because I'm right.

c) Who considers him anything other than Tiger Woods? He defies race in the mainstream media and has pretty much since gaining widespread fame.

a. Oh, I get it. Because we judge people by the color of their skin. That's the whole point of the tread.

b. Not right. I agree he looks black, but that does not mean he is black. He is white too (whit is used interchangeably with Caucasian). Being black is more than skin color. There are citizens of India that have very dark skin. Some appear as if they were black. Yet they are not.

I have to respond! I am mixed and I am and have always been judged by the way I look.

I have and seen racism from both sides. People who feel it is fine to spew whatever they want to my face because they think I am 'one of them'; and those who spew whatever they want to my face because they see what I look like and think I am 'not one of them'.

I've said all along that the issue is your team's colors. Prolly 1/2 of my genes are Irish, and the Irish are the sorriest excuse for white people ever was. I dont wear their colors.

So, if youre just too slick for people about your race, theyre likely pegging you for your bullshit.

Think of it terms of the Democrat inspired notion in the old South that if you had one drop of black blood you were black. This is what guides the liberal today in terms of classifying black folks but is turned upside down in the classification of Hispanics, thus the President is black and Zimmerman is white.

That would make sense. A throwback to the ways things used to be with classification.

Its both the media and everyone else who's been programmed. Science rules, its been proven that for the most part race is a myth. Compatibility can be tricky though when it comes to finding transplant donors for some mixed race people.

If we could walk from Peru heading north and across the seas to England, or even just up into North America; where is the line on the globe that separates these "halfs"? Can we jump on one side of it and see brown people and then jump to the other and see pale people? Nope.
