Quick Question About Smilies, Roses, Etc.

I've noticed that there are a lot of cute smilies and things like the green thing with the tongue, the dancing banana, the rose, etc. that are used in Lit. posts. I'm wondering where to find those so I can use them, too.

Also, I asked in another post yesterday or the day before about how to use multiple quotes in one post. I believe it was Betticus (sp?) who said there was a way but that it was kind of complicated. I just wanted to double-check and see if anyone knew of an UNcomplicated way?

Thanks in advance for your help!! :)

When you post or reply in the Guided Mode, like me, the smilies should be shown in a separate box (see attachment 'smilies' which is a screenprint) and you can insert one by clicking on it.

You can split quotes; mark text, then cut and paste into a new quote-box by using the little yellow textballoon picto.

Hit the 'Quote' button on this post.

You will see the code of the multiple quotes.

To make them yourself, highlight the text you want to quote, then click the
quote.gif
(quote) button at the top of the text box.

When you think you're done, hit the 'Preview Post' button at the bottom of the text box (right next to 'Submit Reply'), to make sure everything looks the way you want it to.

Thank You!!

I wanted to thank Sweet Erika and M's Girl for your replies to my questions. I really appreciate it.

I do have another question though regarding posting smilies, etc.

M's Girl said that I need to post in the "Guided Mode," but I don't know how to get to the "Guided Mode." Is it something I need to click on EACH time that reply I begin a new thread, or do I only need to select it once, and that's it?

Thanks again!!

Actually, quoted material isn't quoted, so the syntax is not available that way.

However, the syntax for quotes, images, hyperlinks(urls) and most of the other codes that can be used are explained in the vB Code help file: http://forum.literotica.com/misc.php?do=bbcode (that link can be found at the lower left corner of most forum pages.)

Guided mode is something you can set in your UserCP or through "Quicklinks/Edit Options" on the menu bar at the top of every forum page. (it's near the bottom of the page in the Misc options box.

I've looked in both places that you mentioned, but I still can't find anything that says, "Guided Mode." Is it possible that someone can post a picture of each step to get to what I need to get to? Sorry I'm having so much trouble.

Thanks!!

The attached image is the last section of the edit options page. The highlighted selection defaults to "guided mode."
