It would renew my faith because it would show that there are still people out there willing to take chances, to be themselves and to do what they want to do regardless of how other might judge them.

Personals would be too easy. Coming out of the clear blue sky would be much more fun.

What you are describing is not a slut but a real woman. One who follows her heart, inner needs and instincts with little thought to what society might say about her. No one should judge another. The only person who you need to please is yourself.

And the sky comment? It reminds me of a creation story in which Father Sky came down to mate with Mother Earth, heh

I assure you I was never around for the Great Depression, assuming that really happened. Father Sky is a different matter -- I keep having these weird memories. No, I'm not stuffy in any fashion, but I have to, at least, make you stop and ponder.

I do remember B&W TV and having to call the operator to make a long distance telephone call (of course it was partly because of where I lived) and not having PC's or the internet, etc..

I know what you are refering to about the lack of technology growing up but I had the same issue and I must admit I am younger than you Mine was due to the area and my family. Of course I am loving having the internet available, the cell phone craze and High Def. Tv, heh

Of course, we didn't know we were growing up without technology. We were experiencing new things and technology advances almost every day. Well, maybe not every day. Of course, the important things in life were still the same -- how can I get laid tonight. <VEG>
