Question for Lit Men

lavender said:
How many of you would gladly watch as another man fucked your lover? Would you find this erotic? Would you be paranoid about it?

How much does the answer rely upon a man's security with his sexuality and his relationship with his lover? Or is it just morality and need for monogamy that prevents men receiving pleasure from such activity?

In order:

I wouldn't.
Yes.
Yes.

Greatly.
Maybe, but never completely.

If it happened you'd be talking about my ex-lover.

And no I wouldn't watch.

Huh. Tough to say, more so that I actually signed the contract.

The answer is a resounding maybe. But not really. Obviously if I could get over the whole "My wife(yikes!) having sex with another guy" I think there might be something real sexy about watching my girlfriend(wife, I mean) get off. Although I could just watch her masturbate and get a similar effect.

Whatever.

Bingo

My lover with another woman?

Yes, please!

That's what I don't get. If it's more about watching your partner receive pleasure, why does it matter the sex of the other person?

It matters, love, believe me it matters.

While I understand it cuts through the BS answer, it's easy to get. Guys who are attracted to girls, like watching girls. 2,1, 32 whatever. Guys who are exclusively attracted to girls, don't like watching naked sweaty guys. Not exactly rocket surgery over here.

Well, not feeling quite so threatened for one.

Ok, I can see that, but to be honest, I could fall in love with a woman just as easily as I could fall in love with a man.

Not to be crude, but a tongue is a tongue.

Sure, but think of it this way. I love my wife and have no doubts what so ever about her fidelity.

But a fictitious couple? One that doesn't have the life long connection me and the Mrs have?

Well if you're introducing a third party to your Hetero chickadee if it's a girl you rationalize thusly "This is something new. Just trying it out. Like that rasberry Daquiri I had a week ago"

A guy? Well you know your girlfriend likes having sex with guys and you know that she'll use you as a benchmark. Simple as pie.

Wow. I'm really surprised at the reactions. You would love to watch someone with another woman possibly, but not another man.

I wouldn't watch my lover with either a man or woman. If it happened, she would be my ex-lover!

If the gender matters, then it really ultimately is a security thing.

Sure. Duh.

Either way I want no part of it.

Don't cross the line

Males are territorial and possessive. Right or wrong, they just are.

i wouldn't want to, b/c that would signal the end of my sex life (once i get one, that is).

i'm a fuck up at everything. i mean, would you go back to the el cheapo hot dogs if you can have steak instead?

Nope, that doesn't help any, women can be just as territorial and possessive.

I think EBW hit it, it isn't about the potential for losing your partner, it's about being compared to another lover, right?

Hey Scylis, hopefully when you hook up with a chickadee it'll be deeper than your meat(Tell me that wasn't well done) and the experience wouldn't change other things.

i'm not saying that i'd really care or anything. sex really isn't important to me; i don't crave it or obsess about getting it.

ok, i think i've finally proved once and for all that i really am insane. i'm 19 and i don't care about sex!

     :(

You don't want her to become too much of a comparison shopper, that's for sure. But guys don't like others to drive their cars either.

Territorial and possessive, I tell you!

so many angles...

For me to say 'yes' or 'no' has a number of deciding factors...

Who's the guy? How long have I know my 'girlfriend'? When do I get to nail that guy's girlfriend? And so on...
To watch my girlfriend with another girl? I have to allow it. I know that girl touches her in very different ways. A feminine touch that I could never duplicate.

So I guess I'd have to say 'Get that gorilla outta' my bed and bring on th' women'.

That's not chauvinistic is it?
