You didn't do as great as you wanted to, but they loved you anyway? God, what if you had done as well as you intended? Would there have been a sex orgy right after the speech?

And, surely you know...at least you do now...when you do a good job and organize something, make plans for this and that with time restraints and such, it never goes off as well as you invision. It's just a part of life, I guess. But, if it lasted 59 minutes and you said it would be an hour, you didn't do so bad.

I bet you think you didn't do so well, but they didn't even notice. That's usually how it goes. So, it went pretty well, then, huh?

And you made coffee for them, too? Geeeezzz! Should we call you Mrs. Olsen now? Or, do you even know who she was? I am a bit older than most on this forum. Please, somebody say they know who Mrs. Olsen was!

i'll take pity on you. i know who Mrs. Olsen was. Thought i'd cut it off before anyone asked if it's Mary-Kate and Ashley's mother.

Well.........today was meeting number two with twice as many people attending as the last. My quietly strong approach for getting things done for the kids has rubbed off on others and has proven to be extremly effective in getting what we want. I am amazed that all of this is working so well and that there wasnt an ounce of fear when i had to speak today :)

Good for you!

I wish I had been here when you first posted this. Public speaking is one of the top fears for a lot of people. It's part of what I do for a living. I sometimes give workshops, and classes in it too.

Sounds like you're doing great now!

not poor thing, it was kinda cool. (talk to who?) Our schools apparently have not advanced pertaining to diversity since about ohhhhhhhhh 'fore Abe Lincoln was born. students threatened some kinda blwing up the school type shit....big meeting.....i attended....and definitely had ta speak my mind. *bats lashes*

:kiss: hehehe i was so riled the camera didnt matter. although state troopers and their handcuffs so close by had me pretty distracted most of the evening. :D
