Progressives cry racism, rip McAuliffe after disastrous loss in VA governor election

A coalition of progressive groups issued a scathing reaction to Terry McAuliffe’s election loss in Virginia, blasting Democrats for running an "uninspired" campaign that failed to address issues voters really care about.

A statement issued by the left-wing groups Battle Born Collective, Justice Democrats, Sunrise Movement and United We Dream Action said McAuliffe’s "shellacking" Tuesday night by Gov.-elect Glenn Youngkin should be a "wake up call for Democrats" ahead of the 2022 midterm*elections.

"Terry McAuliffe ran the milquetoast campaign he wanted to run — where every other word he uttered was ‘Donald Trump’ instead of focusing on the issues voters cared about the most," the groups wrote.

"What happened in Virginia is what happens when Democrats fail to take on the GOP’s divide-and-conquer racism and motivate people to turn out," they continued. "The McAuliffe campaign had no comprehensive pro-worker economic message against a literal private equity magnate. It had no positive message on what the next four years would be like for Virginians. It had no rebuttal to Republican race-baiting bull----. Put simply: it was a campaign designed to fail."

Storm flags are flying all across the nation regarding the democrats and their "woke" policies.

TX district 118. A republican Latino defeated the 'woke' democrat, also a Latino, in a district Biden carried by 14 pts in 2020. Lujan, the republican, ran on 'law and order' and publicly supported Gov. Abbots policies including the recent abortion legislation and banning mask mandates. He also publicly condemned the 'open border' policy of the Biden administration.

Locally a major turnover of the school board with only one of 4 candidates the governor endorsed winning in those elections. On the city council a conservative republican and a conservative democrat unseated two wokesters. The democrat, a Latino, might as well have been a republican. (note. Council offices are non-partisan positions so party affiliation comes from the candidates voter registration.)

The two races that involved Latino candidates are note worthy. The same trend of Latino voters starting to lean republican were also noted in the VA and NJ races. The democrats have long assumed the the Latino community was 'all in' on the open border issue. Maybe, just maybe, it'll dawn on them that they aren't.

as part of an assigned monolithic block. Latino/Hispanic is a block that they
have designated as a part of their plantation system, as they do the block
labeled as African-American, and as such, they are their self-appointed guardians.

The problem with the "brown" block that they have decided they own outright
is that a lot of them are here having fled the policies and attitudes of those
who purport to speak for them and represent them and so they reject them.

I see similar cracks in the block the Left thinks it owns, the black block. It would
seem that a lot of their "property" is starting to realize that the only thing they
ever get from the Left is lip service and they are tired of being treated as
second-class citizens whose only import and use is evident on voting Tuesday.
