profile picture

Hello, I'm so tired of guys asking for pictures, that i've taken a couple of pictures and removed my face....i'm trying to upload the picture and have it on my display...I can see the picture when I post in the forum, but when I look up my profile the picture does not show.....what did i do wrong?

Doesn't show on mine either, Jenn. I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I remember it used to show on your profile. They must have taken that out in one of the updates.

Yes... I see it in her profile... but when she goes to her profile in her cp it's not there. It used to be several years ago, so Lit must have changed that.

Some members or writers, still have a picture in his/her profile. I wanted to check out a writer and noticed that he/she had a picture.....grrr. I see my picture to the left in this forum...but not when you look at my profile (where you can see the stories that i've posted)

The picture in the member's profile requires a manual "approval" by the site admin -- it can take several days for it to appear, unlike the avatar and forum profile pictures which update as soon as you upload them.

Getting an "author's picture" in your member's profile requires the same kind of patience submitting a story does, and it is NOT related to the pictures in the UserCP settings.
