To be fair, there may be a wee bit of bias against Harry (and Meghan) in the U.K.

And I would say that there was / is good reason for the ex-royal’s animosity and view of his semi-estranged family.

Ironically, Meghan is the most authentic / genuine one of them all.

Sort of like Diana, only with one or two “disqualifying“ traits that precludes her from being revered by a large portion of the “common” people.

britain's done what britain does: circles the wagons to protect the royal family, rightly or wrongly, even if the cost of that is discarding/reviling a much-loved member. Let's not forget how popular Harry was; he had the sort of support neither his father or brother had in popular opinion. The machine went into overdrive (media/leaks/yada yada yada) to discredit the couple's words in order to retain that wholly british bull about the royal family as a brand... a brand that has been deeply soiled by the revelations about diana, charles, princess margaret, mountbatton, prince andrew, fergi and others.

I'm not interested in the UK's "royal family" soap opera. I'm not interested in the USA's "celebrity red-carpet royalty" soap opera.

There's a Harris's hawk outside my home with something far more interesting to say. When harry and Meghan married, they were popular (as was Meghan's Mum). But was soon very obvious that Meghan knew nothing about Harry's role as a working member of the Royal Family. She knew little about Harry, and nothing about what a Royal Princess was supposed to do.

Sh was given advice from other Royals and courtiers but seemed to ignore it all. She seemed to want the prestige of being a Princess without any understanding of the role. If she wasn't prepared or willing to be part of the firm, then a split was inevitable.

The attacks and rancor have mainly been one sided from Meghan and Harry. The UK media were vicious, as they can be, but the refusal to do Royal duties was the breaking point. Since then, exposes etc have been expressions of hatred, timed and designed to cause the maximum distress to the other Royals. "I want my father and brother back?" Then stop attacking them. Ths book will do nothing to heal the wounds.

That is a lie. Every story, no matter how bad, is the result of many hours work by the author. My 500 stories are many thousands, even tens of thousand of hours work - given away free.
