As far as re-election strategies go, I think this one's sure-fire winner.

Kids (who can't vote and are in the lowest COVID-19 mortality group) go to school. Maybe the catch it on the bus on the way to school, maybe in the lunchroom when they're masks are off while eating PB&J.

They come home after a long day of social studies and language arts to infect their parents and grandparents (who vote).

And, we're far enough away from the election to see multiple mini-waves of school-catalyzed COVID-19 infections.

Should also do wonders for his approval rating on the way to the general election.

Discuss.

ORANGE MAN BAD!!!!

Have I pandered enough?? LOL :D

As long as it's just pressure and not force, idgaf.

The sooner we quit pretending the world has to stop spinning because of a minor disease (really it's because election in November) the better.

No matter what happens in November, day after the election COVID and BLM both vanish. BLM might come back for 2024.....but they'll have to find a new disease to hype up.

If the schools don't open, who will feed the children?

Every Chicago public school student gets a free breakfast & a free lunch. It's just a matter of time until every student receives a free dinner.

PB&J? Due to severe allergic reactions, schools have banned anything that contains peanuts.

Will quarantine restrictions keep parents away from their kid’s funerals, once the US school mass-shooting season starts?

Did lax Obama-era school-discipline policies enable the Parkland shooter?

Will quarantine restrictions keep parents away from their kid’s funerals, once the US school mass-shooting season starts?

The closer you look at the school shooting in Parkland, Fla., the more you realize that it might have been one of the most preventable significant crimes in recent American history. We’re familiar by now with the government’s sins of omission — how it failed to act time and again in the face of evidence that the shooter presented a clear and present danger to the public.

But how about a sin of commission? Did an Obama-era policy designed to reduce the “school-to-prison pipeline” prevent police from using available tools that could have stopped the shooting?

Yesterday Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations published a comprehensive report that reached an explosive conclusion:

Despite committing a string of arrestable offenses on campus before the Florida school shooting, Nikolas Cruz was able to escape the attention of law enforcement, pass a background check and purchase the weapon he used to slaughter three staff members and 14 fellow students because of Obama administration efforts to make school discipline more lenient.

Why discuss?

You've already framed your thoughts
and are demanding the windmills line up for a good tilting...

Fuckers need to be back in school. I'm about sick and tired of seeing them all over the place, being all kid-like and annoying and shit. Go learn something ya little street urchins or the Artful Dodger is gonna get ya!

School is day care for a lot of people.

School doesn’t open then jobs numbers can’t climb to their full potential because you lose a significant portion of the workforce, one parent has to stay home and care for the little crotch goblins.

yeah, let the "teachers" get PAID and not do any work at all

WHY

NOT?

They do it all the time

It's summer.

Wait, why are the day camps closed?

Not day care centers, most of them were essential, the alternatives for school aged children. Summer programs run by churches, some school boards, etc..., that working parents use when the little beasts don’t have school.

Pawning then off on grandparents when you’re supposed to isolate them only works for some.

I never said day care centers. Why are they closed?

I’m not the one who decides that, I simply stayed a reason some want to push for opening.

I don’t work or have any little fuck trophies running around so it’s not my problem.

You're just the one who said it.

Not your problem? You must have a really fancy bunker you're hiding in.

Also, they'll pass it on to their teachers

Dumb strategy. You would think someone would inform him that suburban moms will never put their precious tots into virus pits, and will loathe him for doing nothing to curb the pandemic.

The po' folks who desperately want school to open are either already braindead Trumpettes or minority voters who will never vote for him anyway. Pushing for schools to open prematurely when we've already seen how opening too soon leads to raging surges is a total #loser.

No one shares your views except the Trumpette Cult, so keep it up. Total winning strategy for November.

So, the Stable Genius who had to hire a "smart" guy to take his SATs in order to get admitted to college is pressuring governors and local districts to re-open their schools.

Can it get any more absurd than this?

Probably.

That must be some bunker.

I’m not sure what sort of deal you’re trying to bait me into, but life’s too short to pick fights with people over the Internet.

I made an observation. Either discuss the observation or run along, we have nothing else to discuss here.
