pretty planes

Brian Shul, the only SR pilot to be kicked out of the program. Why? Because he was stupid on multiple occasions.

A 20yr veteran, retired from the SR71 squadron. You clearly have inside knowledge, as his military bio does not infer your comment.

Looks to be differences in how you take it. It would seem that Shul was more of a self-marketer than others in the program. But if you are reaching the 20yr mark, most are looking to their next career and Shul clearly had his next steps planned.

NOT a Hellcat, this looks more like a torpedo bomber. The Hellcat was a fighter and this has an elongated canopy like you would find on a torpedo bomber.

However, this is a common occurrence in today's society as there are NO Wing Walkers, like they had in the military when these planes were in service.

Something similar has happened at Oshkosh where a tail dragger ex-military plane ran over and killed the pilot of the plane that was in front of it.

In addition, a lot of tail draggers do a sweeping side to side movement when they're taxing so that they can keep the runway in sight and it looks like this guy failed to do so.

TBM Avenger, not a Hellcat. A TBM is much larger than a Hellcat.

Agreed on the walking. At Oshkosh, if a pilot requests a walk to the taxiway or runway they have guys either walking or on motorcycles.
