"Premire" Jewelry

Has anyone attended one of these jewelry parties? I went to one my sister-in-law hosted tonight, and I'm not a big jewelry wearer... but I ended up buying $60 worth of stuff. Not too bad for a pair of earrings and a bracelet.

I'm very careful about NOT attending parties like that due to the $300 I lost at a lingerie party...got some nice sleepwear, but I sleep nude!

Never heard of them and i've got friends who think every single one of those kinda parties are a Good Thing. I've been to them all, so i thought.

Maybe they haven't made thier way out west yet?

yeah, I think it was the damn saleswoman that suckered me into it, but I did manage to get away without promising to host a party! whoo hoo! Now, if I could only spell "premier", maybe I would quit buying the shit?

I bought a faux pearl ring a couple of years ago from one of those parties. I still love it..looks like the real thing.
