I just heard that USA GOLD has been hospitalized from a stroke...I pray she will recover and not have any damage to her body from it.

Yes, she is a good person. I was chatting with her last Sunday. I have gone to the threads I know she has frequented and posted a link to this thread. All we can do is wait and hope for the best...

May Goldie make a recovery!

I found out from Jaded tonite that there was a thread started for USAGOLD....aka
Goldie as I always call her......I want to first thank Erotic_Writings for starting up this
thread for her.

Secondly, as Goldie is a regular at my Love Cafe, she's mentioned about very
severe headaches that's she's had for quite a while now, and recently had an
MRI, then a EEG done----results showed a blood clot of sorts and while she let us
know on Friday about that, what came to my mind was either stroke or aneurysm.
She even posted (again, in the Cafe) that on Monday (which is tomorrow) she was
going to see a surgeon in regards to this.....well, things happened pretty fast than
expected and she had a possible stroke.

My prayers and thoughts are with her at this difficult time.......I know she has been
a lot since I've known her on Lit, first in the New England thread, and then she'd stop
in my Cafe I hope that Goldie makes a speedy recovery!

Any news on Goldie as it is found out please post up here.......Goldie's aunt posted
up in my Cafe this afternoon using Goldie's Lit moniker.

Goldie's aunt just posted up in my Love Cafe thread the following:

Hello My name is Pat i am usagold's Aunt i jut got home from the hospital she did have a stroke the Blood clot in her brain let loose at 5am this morning i found her on the floor right know she is in ICU with tubes in and a feeding tube the doctor is saying the next 24 to 48 hours we will know if she will come home or go home to her lord she has no use of her left side at this point I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Again thanks for being her friends Pat

I let her know on my Cafe thread that this thread was started for Goldie, so everyone
please pray harder.....the day or two is critical for her.

yeah they let loose when you least expect - they have come a long way in being able to see them....I get scared when I start having headaches since i'm capable of having them thanks to my family tree. have a cousin that had a pretty bad TIA and was paralyzed on one side of her body, but has recovered enough to live a fairly normal life - atleast we have the technology available today to deal with it alot better

something I found while reading the news today that might be of interest - sounds like she may have had a pretty bad TIA....hopefully she'll pull out of it on her own and be back to normal in no time

No problem, WW.......I am hoping that Goldie gets through the next 24 to
48 hours......it doesn't look good right now but anything can happen so let's
hope for a miracle.

Okay.....I've been in contact with Goldie's aunt who has been posting up on my
Cafe thread under the USAGOLD name....if anyone wants to check any updates please

Update!!!

This was posted by Goldie's aunt earlier this afternoon 12:40pm EST in
my Love Cafe thread:

Good Afternoon i hope

Well after a restless nights sleep i was up to the hospital around 8am and i went to her room and she was not there, Come to find out she was in surgery to remove 3 of the clots that are in her brain and she came through that with Flying colors, The clot that let loose was in the middle of her brain and they we able to get some blood out not all of it but most, Right know she is in a Drug indused coma and will be like that for a few days then they will start to wake her up slowly her bllod pressure is ok and her blood work is fair, She is still has the feeding tube in along with a breathing machine but the doctors say she might pull through, I have to hurry and finish this as i am going back up there this afternoon Take care and i will let you know this evening how she is doing. Pat

So please keep on praying for Goldie's health........good to know she had surgery this
morning to remove three clots and the fourth they were able to get some of it. Once
again the next 24-48 hours are critical for her.

Once again I want to thank Erotic_Writings for starting up this thread, and for everyone
thus far who have posted up prayers and good wishes for Goldie.
