Pray with warmlips

I have been crying for the last few minutes after reading the Italian newspaper, La Repubblica.
Two devastating tragedies. One girl, Desiree, aged 14 was stabbed and murdered by some boys, and also an adult, who all knew her, last week. The other, even younger, only 13, killed herself last night because her boyfriend dumped her. I don't really know why I told you the details, I guess I just wanted to share the overwhelming sadness and compassion I feel.

Dear God
Please look after and somehow comfort those families and friends of these two precious girls, both so pure and sweet, whose lives ended too soon. May the girls themselves be surrrounded in white light, and soothed by calming energy and love. Let them continue their journey and find happiness as they progress. Bless them and keep them.
May their memory be a reminder to all of us to cherish all of our friends and family for we do not know when they shall be taken from us.

Thinking of and praying for my friend's aunt in St Lucia, Minnie, a sweet elderly lady, may she be bathed in love at this time, and find peace in her heart. Also praying for her sister, may she be comforted and not feel alone in the coming months, knowing she will always have friends who care about her.

From the heart

All my love and prayers go out to the people of North Korea; two million people have already died of famine due to economic sanctions, and the Chinese are either deporting those who arrive in China seeking help, or are putting them in prison.

Please pray for all the suffering people in the world, and for prevention of war, the effect of a war against Iraq would be devastating, it would affect generations to come, due to the radiation produced.


There is a better, non violent way of doing things, we can all start with ourselves today. Every day there is the possibility of peace. To change on a national scale, then a global scale, you must start with yourself. Spread love every day, in your home and at work.

My prayers go out to the survivors of the hostage situation in Russia as well as the families of the not so lucky hostages who lost their lives as the theater was gassed in the process of subduing the attackers.

I also pray for the people who were shot (and survived) the newest killers in the US as well as all the families who lost their loved ones.

Terrorism will increase as long as it is allowed to.

One of the best things we can do is band together and pray for the highest good of all concerned.

I came on here to say a prayer for them too. Thanks magicman.
I watched the Italian news today, at university, so sad. Especially as there was so much more footage than we get here, of people's emotions, it was heart rending. The look on the faces of the parents, and the rescue workers.

I pray for the children, their families, and everyone affected by the earthquake in Molise. I pray that the children who survived are able to overcome their fears that it will happen again, the uncertainty they feel about the future. May they be comforted and reassured that everything will be ok.
For all the families and friends of the children and the teachers who died, I wish light to be infused through them, to give them the strength to carry on and find solace in the love from those around them.

Warmlips just found this thread....the hate and violence in this world is so rampant....unfortunately there are no easy answers.
The world leaders have to get on the same page.....terrorism has to be stopped. I'm sick of politics over people....when a memorial service turns into a political rally it is time to rethink our values.

The rash of violence to children is frightening....I was on a prayer line for a little boy whose Dad beat him....then threw him in a shower to die. Thank God he survived but the emotional scars as well as the physical will follow him forever.

Prayers to the sniper victims and their families....the Italian earthquake victims....all the sick , homeless and misguided in the world.

I will be back.......
