Pray with warmlips

For MagicMan and his family and the sadness they are living right now.......may they find peace and solace. Time helps these wounds as I well know but it never takes it all away. There is a comfort knowing a loved one is out of pain but it doesn't make our pain easier........

Love reigns supreme in our hearts and in the world.

Love to you all, you are all in my prayers,
warmlips

I noticed none of your prayers included America. Do you think we asked those fuck head rag heads to drive airplanes in the WTC and Pentagon? Do you think America is beyond your prayers? Ive served in the USMC and in the Army National Guard for a total of 17yrs... I served at the WTC, Guarded our own streets against terrorism and during the Gulf War. These rag headed fucks kill their own people because they can, they think nothing of peace or love, but you wanna pray for them? They can burn our flag, kill innocent women and children, but you wanna pray for them? Im thinking you should take a moment and pray for those little kids that lost their mommies and daddies at the WTC! And while youre doing all this praying for peace in the Middle East, I'll be praying that the USA strike teams kills another terrorist so that thousands of Americans may live in Peace in the future.

I hope I didnt sound too harsh... it just kinda erks me how soon people forget.

Prayers....

America is not forgotten.. nor will it ever will be. WTC was a tragic event. I remember vividly what I was doing that day. Calling and waking up my marine friend who happened to "NOT" be at his base that morning. I was the first one to call him and tell him what was going on. Then I got down on my knees and prayed to God that my friends were ok! I knew of a man that worked near the WTC and I was scared to death for him! I could go on and on telling you detail for detail about that day.. but it won't change anything. My friend and many others survived by the Grace of God. I'm thanful every day he and others did.

I say a prayer every day that no one else will be killed. That little children around the world see the good and want to do good. I pray they don't loose anymore then they already have. We "ALL" were affected by this tragedy. Not just Americans but everyone!

When we turn to God, he will show us the right way. I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about posting here in Lit. I was recently saved in Church and have been battling a conflict with myself. Technically this is a porn site. I don't see it as one and seeing people here like Warmlips that brought up a prayer thread just goes to show that there are good people here. I have come to meet soo many here that are good. And just b/c I am leading (or atleast trying to) a different way of life I'm not going to turn my back on the friends I have made here. I'm not here to judge anyone but myself. Nor was anyone on this earth put here to Judge us! God is the only Judge to me.

Now that I have preached my sermon... I will step down from my soap box. So please pray for peace, love and forgiveness.

(hugs) and :rose: to all!

BTW... just for the record... Good Ole Country Girl from Ohio here!

A prayer for 2003

2002 was an odd year, but also a very difficult one
for people here in the States and around the world.

So, I take this moment now to say:

May 2003 be a year of resolve, of improvement, of
everyone working together to bring good. May those
who are out of work, a new job will come to them. May
those who are homeless and down & out, help will
come to them, and that they have the strength to pull
through the tough times. May our men and women
in the US military stay safe and that if need be, fight for
justice and peace overseas.

There are many other things that I could say but
for now, may you all strive for peace, love, happiness,
& hope, for the new year.

Hi MsAngel, I was going to send you a private msg in response to this but decided to post it here instead. Your words are as beautiful as Im sure your soul is.... heres my thoughts tho....

I fully understand the battle youre feeling inside yourself, I too am a Christian, (not practicing)... I feel the struggle every day of my life. I do pray for peace, but reality sets in and I know there will never be total peace in this World. So, my prayers have taken a new direction to defeating the enemies of our nation and the nations that would welcome a democratic, peaceful republic. I too, am not here to preach to anyone as that would make me a hipocrit... to say the least. I dont consider myself the Judge or Jury, but if God needs a mighty sword against Terrorism then He may call on me at any time! I do believe that by destroying all the terrorists, (even the people who makes lunch for terrorists are my enemies), is the ONLY way we can insure a bright future for our children. I pray that the children of today will not have to see bodies burning and disfigured in the streets or go to a combat zone and see their friends heads blown off their shoulders and to have to carry the bodies to a collection point where they hold a bag open and put 2 arms w/ 2 legs in it. Ive seen quite enough... Ive seen and heard more than I care to remember! So, maybe now you too will understand why I practice a different style of Christianity. I hope noone judges me poorly, or thinks of me badly. If anyone is curious about the pic I posted above... thats me 17yrs ago, fresh out of Marine Corps Boot Camp AND totally ignorant of the Evil in this World.

Prayer and Doing

All things are the sum of our collective decisions. I hope that we can all pray for miracles and peace but we all need to work and act like we want it. As the saying goes...."Think globally, act locally".

I do hope Tiger's prayer is answered....

Zlirg.. sorry it took me a couple of days to get back to this. I'm sorry for all that you have had to see. I pray that some day you will find peace at heart some day. Sorry if I sounded a little rough on you. We all are entitled to our own opinions. May you blessed this New Year!

To all that come here for laughs, friendship and love may you all be blessed with good health, love and happiness.

I pray that 2003 is a better year for us all. For me it seems to be starting off better!

:rose: to you all!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Thanks for your beautiful posts tigerjen, MsAngel (yes, you are an angel, I agree!) and Jacqline for your posts earlier on, thank you for looking after everyone.:rose:
Bless you zlirg. I pray you have a happy and prosperous year. I didn't actually write that prayer, it was on Marianne Williamson's site, she wrote Healing the Soul of America ... and could be seen as an interfaith minister.

Here's Ric Beattie's prayer for the new year:

Great Spirit,

I feel the rhythm of life, flowing from You through all things.

I am truly grateful for Your spirit, which binds us together.

On this first day of the new year, I declare my intentions:

_ To be the person You would have me be.

_ To live in love, with my heart open to all people.

_ To forgive quickly and love unconditionally.

_ To care deeply about the wellbeing of this planet and all the living things here.

_ To co-create peace.

_ To share my gifts and talents as You direct.

Thank You.

And so it is.

Amen

To live in peace with all people we must first start with ourselves, may all of you create a peaceful, joyful and abundant year for yourselves and those around you!

Love and blessings,
warmlips

PRAYER FOR EVERYONE

Dear God
Please act on my prayers for my family and friends:
Please take care of my two friends as they see their families and do their best to help them. Protect and guide them in what they do. Thank you for giving us this serendipitous opportunity to spend time with them and their loving and creative energy.
Please give my soulmate infinite strength and belief to complete the many tasks he has undertaken to do. Give him healing love and let the creative flow be released in him. Thank you for surrounding him and us with such awesome people, who want to achieve their potential, and are willing to overcome all obstacles. Thank you for allowing me to complete my degree this year. I will act with grace and humility this year. Thank you for all the immensely beautiful experiences we share together and will share together always. Thank for giving us this divine gift of love and complete understanding and humour that we share.
Please give belief and determination to all of my friends who are uncertain what move to make next, help them decide what to do, and may it be for the highest good of everyone.

Please love, guide and protect with golden light everyone who surfs the internet, please help them make the right decisions and be surrounded by people who love them unconditionally. When they meet challenges and those who do not fully support them, may they have the strength and grace to forgive and learn from other people. For everyone we encounter here is a real person, not just words on a page.

Please love, guide and protect all children everwhere. May they learn gentleness and positive speech and thoughts from their elders.
Please love, guide and protect all sentient beings. May they all move towards happiness with joy and lightness of spirit.
Thank you for your infinite love and eternal light,
Amen

What an awsome thread, My prayer is with our men and women who are serving all over the world ensuring we are safe every day.

Having spent over twenty years in the military, I do know what you go through everyday zlirg, and if I could please let me say thank you for everything you do and have done. America is America because of the sacrifices that you and the other men and women who wear the uniform make every day....So thank you. You and your fellow marines, soldiers, sailors and airman are our hope for peace....

One more day of peace, looks like someone was listening to all your prayers :)

Thank you Warmlips...

It is great to be alive today. I am thankful for the roof over my head ,the bills that I must pay today, and the job to pay for them both. I may not be wealthy in money but I am wealthy in love  And sometimes that is all you need.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Praying that you all find the peace in your heart to get you through the day.
