At least I only wasted one dollar. I was talking with the owners of the local 7-Eleven last night and they said some people had laid down $150 on tickets!

Some people are stupid like that.

I do lottery weekly, but just one line each time. £1 is not a lot for day dreaming for a couple of hours.

I rarely play. When it gets to be an insane amount of money...I enjoy the daydreaming $1 gets me. Just the thought of only having to wear my socks once and throw them out gets me all warm and tingly.

It is up to $280 million on Wednesday.

You'd think, but I watched people in Vegas feed hundreds of dollars into the slots.

If you have the money to spare, I say put it down, for $280 million.

(Of course, that's only like $100 mil after taxes.)

I call the lottery the "stupid tax." I'll spend $1 to buy a ticket, or maybe $5, when it gets so huge. But, there are people who pay their tax week after week. Sheesh. I guess our schools are better because of it?
