I can't explain why, but if everyone on the planet could pretty please think positive thoughts for me around 1pm (Central) today, I'd greatly appreciate it... (Ohhhhhmygoodnessohmygoodnessohmygoodness...)
:rose:

Thanks, y'all!

(Resume tweaking is hard, and I have eleventy-million butterflies in my stomach...)

Numbers & time zones are not my skill they make me confused very quickly.

But I will send out good thoughts throughout the 24 hour period specifically with you in mind Cutie :rose:

... Did it work?

Didn't want to jinx my participation by announcing it before the fact. Kinda like opening the box on Schrodinger's<sp?> Cat.

Don't quite know yet... I've inquired about salary, and was asked what I'd require- which I need to decide upon, since I very very very much need a job, and this is a once in a Lifetime opportunity- I have to weigh the future potentials, against what I feel is a resaonable salary for the position...

(Godd*mned romantic booksellers... why is it that everyone thinks simply loving books can make them successful in this business?)

I'm pretty late in the 1PM thing, but if after thoughts help, I"m there.

I also hate when the job specification wants YOU to specify salary requirements. Most of the time, you don't know everything about the job to even get close to what would be an honest wage. But, if I really want the job, I always say "I only expect an honest pay for a satisfactory job." And, I also make sure to mention that I"m flexible, because pay isn't everything.

There are a lot of things that are related, when deciding on a particular job. Pay is what everybody seems to zero in on, but there are benefits, location, parking, if parking is paid by me or included, access to places for lunch, length of lunch break, work hours, job stress, boss relations, fellow employee relations, is it in house or road warrior, teamwork atmosphere, do you have to punch a time clock, advancement possiblities, dress code and on and on.

Fnancial security is what we all seem to look for, but I look for job satisfaction, if I'm going to be doing it for any length of time. Lilfe is too short to hate getting up every morning just for a pay check.

Sorry, if I've rambled. I do that a lot.

Hey, Cutie. Sorry I missed the mass vibe thing, but hope it ends up the way you want it to. Good luck, girlie.

Have you ever had to do this before? I haven't so I am wondering how you're going to come to your final decision. Good luck again!
