Posing for an artist.

A few years ago, I posed for a painter. The first couple of sessions, I was topless, but, for the last couple, I was completely naked. It was one of the most arousing experiences of my life. Has anybody else done it and did you get aroused.

Apologies but no, I haven't. I just wanted to say that this is a very erotic thought.

"but I'm 100% sure I would get into a REAL room and just... tremble." I sure the photographer would find some way to relax you

I took several life drawing sessions a few years ago, it was wonderful to view and draw the models. Though what you end up with is a bunch of sketches that you later need to rework. I think the longest period of time was about 45 minutes. It wasn't a sexual thing as much as you would think. Or perhaps I just had to keep very focused so as not to become aroused and get kicked out of the class. Mostly female models. Most were mature women with all the wonderful curves. Some were men, though they were not as inspiring to draw. I enjoyed it....need to go back and rework some of the sketches made. But a great deal of the time you were just trying to capture the line of the shoulder, the arms, the knees in authentic fashion. However, I have always wanted to be the model myself, to sit for others as they drew my body. Still on my bucket list at age 60+.

I did a body painting thing on two occasions where I was photographed. The photographer was a good friend, and he was all business - like a good gynecologist . I was kind of a mess, but I did it! The body paint made a big difference.

My mother had some BEAUTIFUL figure drawings when she was in college. One of my favorites is a woman that must have been in her 70s. She had this long hair and decent rotation despite a downturn at her shoulders that had a very editorial model look. It was only upper torso and face, but her eyes were so... venerable? I used to look at that image a lot.

Mostly, I just draw cartoons.

Yes. Though I have been on the other side of the easel far more often.
Similar question here.

I did write a short story (partially fictionalized) about a particular drawing session.

I loved the older models, but I have always loved the beautiful figures of mature women.....even when I was younger. Beauty really doesn't fade.....Cartoons are great, but you can always branch out ...***** is long and plenty of time to hone many talents.....we just need to be patient enough with ourselves.

Very very lovely. My only issue is how do I work a nude into a drawing where it makes sense.....or maybe just go with a Dali or Rene Magritte type of thing......wonderful sketch that.

Once a very close friend from college asked me to help him and one of his female friends with an art project. There was some body painting involved, so they both used me as a canvas to draw different intricate patterns.

My friend is really handsome and she was gorgeous too, and the feeling of the brushes on me was very exciting, so I ended up with a boner and very horny. Although it was a bit embarrassing at first as we were very close, the three of us ended up laughing.

Great experience.
Ugh, those brushes! Did they go super slow over your nipples? Because I'm pretty sure my artist was teasing me on purpose.

<leans chin into hands, stares upward> I think about that all the time.

Thank you.

All sorts of context — Bathroom, bedroom, fantasy/mythology (Venus, Nymphs and satyrs) even in context of a figure drawing session... one on one or a large class. A nude as a study makes sense in and of itself.

Did a couple painting and photography sessions a while back. The hard part was trying to keep still with the air conditioner on high.

I have employed (utilized, not paid) dolls (action figures) as drawing mannequins before, but generally prefer more points of articulation and more realistic propotions than a "Barbie®" has. Modeling for drawing and painting is much more challenging than for photography, but for either, the best models have a good sense of body awareness.

I took an interesting life drawing class a few years ago. We had ten minutes to study the model; then ten minutes to paint or draw; then five minutes to look at (and think about) what we had painted or drawn; and, finally, five minutes to tweak the image. I seem to recall that there were about a dozen of us, and probably half of us managed to produce a half-decent image. I think that I still have mine somewhere. If I remember rightly, the model's name was Lucy. She was about 30, and quite tall.

My wife did it in her 20s and said that it left her very aroused
Whether it's nature or nurture, I believe women get an extra thrill compared to men.

It gas zero to do with the "extra"--bikinis are two pieces; it's just in StraightLand, boys want to see girls (naked, bare) more than vice-versa. Vive la difference!

A few of the comments here relate to being studied by a group. In my situation, it was just me and the artist, and I think that was probably what made it so exciting. He did allow me to look at the painting at the end of each session. I think it was the detail he'd put on the canvas that did it for me, knowing that he'd studied intently every part of me. After he's finished it, we stood side by side looking at it. I think my mouth must have fell open when I saw the way he'd captured my stiff nipples and the slight hint of moisture between my legs. I remember the struggle to get dressed, my legs were like jelly. Anne.

Were you tempted to go further? Did the artist want you to?

Very tempted, yes. And I presume he would have, judging by the bulge in his shorts. But no, I didn't. I will admit though that when I got home I couldn't stop myself from enjoying the fantasy that I had taken it a lot further. Anne.

I bet you were tempted. I had a little photography business for a while and photoshoots ended in sex sometimes -- wasn't unusual. Were you married at the time?
