Porn Induced ED Fascinating Information

Is it too late to agree? That thread deserves it.
Just found out about this thread.

Not only it's worrying - with the consequences already showing - but I think they should teach that in school to teenagers so that they try to distinct between porn and reality. What a valuable lesson it could be.

My generation was lucky to have first witnessed real dating and touching, smelling, tasting and feeling so the bar was set high and too much porn could not do much harm. I am not sure about the next one though.

Thanks for posting. I was surprised (kinda) that this didn't even get one reply. I think it's a big thing for sure. Sad for new generations.

I just watched this video. It's hard to argue any of what this guy says. What do you think? I think the younger generations are going to have serious problems with this.

The 38 minute mark is particularly dead on

I'm always wary when someone says "It's hard to argue any of what this guy says" because no science is that certain. Even Newton's theory of gravitation has been shown to be inaccurate, albeit it took more than 200 years to do so – and lots of people still assume that it's true.

Agreed

For all men

This is a very good informative thread that all men of all ages should read and follow the advice. When you open this attached video, there are other related videos to watch associated with this original clip. Thanks for sharing this with all of us.

Just read it. Very interesting.

Most of the people they are discussing are younger, so their ED (and it's not mentioned much in the article) probably has little to do with mechanics. I'm not sure whether this is a relevant distinction.

Personally, I find that if I watch lot of porn in the day (with arousal but not ejaculation), I'm extra horny to have sex with a woman in the evening, but when given the opportunity, I find myself enough out-of-sync with the experience that I enjoy the sex less. I've always wondered about this, as I would have guessed that the hornier I am going in, the more fun I'd have, but it's not the case for me when instigated by porn.

I have read several medical reviews that frequent ejaculations for men age 60 and older, helps support prostate health. The main point was NOT to do it to porn and not to visualize porn. This is a good thread to follow.

Thanks Mike! Great point and I tend to agree.

I’m being a bit lazy, as I don’t have a You Tube account so I can’t watch the video posted and I only read 1/3rd of the article. However, I found recently, porn to be a serious limiter to my sex life. Since my 30’s my now ex wife would give me a hard time if I watched porn and jerked off blaming my lack of interest on that. I tried viagra and it helped but the side effects were awful. For years following my inability to get hard and stay hard with another person became a real issue, even with my current wife (whose 12 years younger and totally hot). Even Viagra wasn’t always working and I blamed it on age, I’m now 58, even though when I masturbated watching porn I had no erection issues. I’d tried stoping porn and masturbating but only for a week or 2 at the most and there was no change in my experiences.

Then recently, I stopped for a month, I just quite porn and masturbating. It changed everything. I felt like I was 20, instant erections with my wife, I’d stay hard, I wouldn’t have premature ejaculations, my sex life changed and my wife’s sex life changed and we’ve been happy every since. Porn turned out to be my issue, not ED.

porn can dull the senses, especially if viewed at a high rate (daily, or close to it, weekly). Proven fact.

As with any other addiction, (cocaine, meth, liquor), you get accustomed to the "high" that you get so you start to over indulge so that you can get "that high" feeling back.

It's not porn itself that is the issue - it's the over indulgence of it that dulls the senses.

So true!

What I've seen in research is that to re-wire your brain it takes about 30 days. So it makes sense you are seeing the benefits. Congrats that is amazing news.

So, I don't find anything in this compelling and I'm not sure why anyone else does either.

I have enjoyed porn since I was in my early teens. I am 60 male (Playboy, Hustler, Penthouse). Because of lack of money and no internet, my porn consumption was automatically regulated.

In mid life, I found porn through dial-up modems. Still it was slow and thereby regulated, but I was looking at more of it.

Enter high speed internet ... I viewed porn everyday. My marriage had entered a really boring point sexually. I hid my porn habit from my wife. My porn viewing became a problem. I got therapy and I quit porn. I quit porn for at least 5 years. The best part about this is that sexy erotic images are all around us ... thus I would see an up skirt shot of a woman and get that hit of dopamine.

So I eventually drifted back into mild nudity photos. I would do it very infrequently. I would occasionally read erotica. I finally realized that there is a fine line between art, nudes, erotica, etc. Is a site like Literotica Porn? Porn had always been in my life and I enjoyed it. It started to seem ridiculous to live a life without something that I do enjoy.

So I eventually came clean to the wifie and told her that I was going to include porn in my life. I told wifie that I am that guy that sits alone with his computer with his dick in his hand. And yes, I do over indulge occasionally. I also occasionally indulge in too much liquor.

Porn, like anything else, can be a problem.

I do enjoy sex with my wife and we have regular sex. But I have a strong non vanilla sex drive which includes bisexuality, cuckolding, etc. I enjoy having an outlet where I can (have an outlet) to see things that help me fantasize about my desires.

Well if you think about it, the internet is radically changing reality. Throughout history, there was no chance to see this level of amazingly sexy women in all sorts of varieties and kinks. Even when technology did increase, governments throughout the world almost always monitored things to assure not too much was shown (for example, you still can't see a boob on network TV).

For some odd reason, our government is acting like they still have to monitor TV and radio, but don't do a thing about the internet. It could be because our government is full of old men that don't really understand how insanely addictive the internet is to today's youth. I think porn induced ED is huge because it's so readily available. Heck, that's why we're all here now. If TV allowed this type of stuff, TV would be bigger right now.

It's a hard problem to solve though because on one end you don't want to take away freedom, but on the other end we all know that pornography today is out of control. If they can ban so much on TV and force everyone to wear masks within a week, it's crazy that there is no limitations on online porn when everyone knows it's primarily consumed by younger people.

Go to the discussion boards on Reddit, Quora or Yahoo Answers and see how many young men are completely unable to to have PIV Intercourse. Pornography Induced Sexual Dysfunction is real and it messing up a lot of young men.

Wow, and I thought the main problem from porn was just that all women who don't have 36DD's felt small and all men who don't have at least a 7" dick felt tiny.

Fascinating conversation!! I appreciate everyone’s perspectives and experiences.

I enjoy porn fairly often. Doing so has certainly curtailed my interest in and ability to get super hard during standard vanilla sex but I don’t think that’s a bad thing necessarily. It’s pushed me to try kinkier shit in bed and to explore more intense, “out there” sexual experiences with my partners which get me harder and more fully aroused. So, in a way, I’m grateful for porn for opening my eyes to all different sorts of sex I can try out and enjoy.

Also, if I edge or don’t cum for a few days, it makes it super easy for me to enjoy any sort of sexual contact because I’m a bit starved for pleasure.
