Polyamorous?

I have received a few PM's regarding possible polyamorous relationships I just can't believe with all the sex going on out here that there are not more people seriously looking into this.

Are we more prudish than we appear or just like fantasy and not reality?

I don't think it has anything to do with being prudish. Some people genuinely crave a deep connection with just one person. I am nowhere near being a prude, but there is no way I would want to share my partner with someone else. I think it's a wonderful option for couples who can communicate effectively and do it freely because they choose it- not because they don't want to lose their partner. Polyamorous relationships take the communication issues of a monogamous relationship and triple them. It's tough work! I don't personally know anyone in this kind of relationship- and it's not what I would want. I am, however, glad to hear you've found some of what you're looking for- hope you can find a special lady to bring in! :)

Being poly and being prudish are not mutually exclusive.

I believe that it is possible to love genuinely and be committed to more than one partner simultaneously. This is something that my Partner and I talk about seriously. We haven't really gone down this road, but I would not be surprised if this is in our future. We've been together as a couple for nearly 15 years and recently have fallen back into the exciting phase of our love again just like when we were in our early days. He is far more open to trying to meet my needs for celebrating the best things about my male friends than he was in the past, and I have always tried to get him to go out, experience things and bring the best of them back home with him.
