I'm curious how many here are already polyamorous and practice ethical non-monogamy (i.e. not people curious about it but are already living that way). Browsing these forums a bit, it seems many are more content with cheating than consensual arrangements where there is honesty, trust, vulnerability, etc. For some, the cheating - whether fantasy or real pursuit - seems to be a thrill they chase. I used to have that fantasy but now I find it incredibly toxic and gross.
I have nothing against monogamy but it just doesn't suit me well. Currently, I'm only dating one person (coming up on two years together). She has another boyfriend and they've been together about 16 months. I've had a few short-term dating partners sprinkled in but not anything that's stuck. Stayed friends with two though.
I joined this site mostly for the stories but thought I'd also get to know some kinky sexual folx here. But I'm kinda worried about the landmine field of monogamous cheaters I am likely to meet. Where the ethical non-monogamous people at?! Reveal thyselves! Lol
