what scent/scents do you wear? by that, i mostly mean perfumes/colognes, but for those who don't use them, body wash, etc?

p.s.: my answers later...

Generally, I wear vanilla or coconut body wash and matching perfume from the Body Shop. Going out, I change it to raspberry scented stuff.

Oh, hard one to answer. I adore nice perfumes. Have several favorites for myself and for what I like M to 'wear'...

At this moment I'm very much liking "Very Irrisistible" by Givenchy, "Noa" by Cacharel and "Aqua di Roma" by Laura Biagiotti a lot. From all scents I usually have all the products, so showergel, bodylotion and the perfume itself.

Someone mentioned sunprotection products. I agree! Most of them smell nice, I guess it is also the association you make with sun, summer, beaches and holidays (coming from a cold-and-not-so-sunny-usually-Holland!)...

I buy M's perfumes most of the time so I can pick what I like :D My favorites there at the moment are "Man" by Rochas and "Magnetism" by Escada. Mmmmm!

I wear Very Sexy by Victoria's Secret.
:( We don't have Victoria's Secrets here in Holland.... :( The lingerie is nice too...... drewl...

i used to wear tuscany, which IIRC is by uomo, but had to change after i got married: it was chosen for me by an ex and a mutual friend and there was too much psychodrama involved. i've since switched to armani's acqua di gio. it's a nice, light scent. i'm actually kinda amused by the fact that the mrs now wears the women's version. :>

Yeah, Tuscany.... nice too, but I can see how this scent was less adored by your wife. I guess women are like that.... (I know, I am one :D )

The women of Holland just might be too sexy for Victoria's Secret ;)

And BTW, Queen's Day Rocks!!!

They have an outstanding online store. Check it out.

i should note that the quality of garments you will get from VS online or through catalog orders is generally not as of high quality as what you will find in their brick & mortar stores, btw.

I am a big fan of perfume. In summer I wear Kenzo by Kenzo, Pamplelune by Guerlain or Angel Innocent by Thierry Mugler depending on my mood. In winter I wear Magie Noire by Lancome, Angel by Thierry Mugler or Opium by Yves St-Laurent again, depending on my mood. Since I moved to Canada, I discovered Neiges by Lise Watier which I can wear sporadically.

Haha, maybe..... ;)

So you've been to Queens Day? Yeah, like it too.

Thanks, I will.... Although it's sort of a drag to order from the US (or any other country for that matter I guess) cause of import fees. Yep, Holland (the Netherlands, I just also happen to live in the part that is actually called Holland) is a tax-paradise...... for the government!

I considered ordering the Liberator (mentioned in another thread) and the thing itself was already expensive but the price for shipping and declaring through customs more than doubled that.

Same with some CD's I ordered from Dusty Groove in Chicago. Wasn't their fault but al together if I want my Liberator plus some VS lingerie I might as well spend that money on a plain ticket and enjoy some more US!

Hope you don't mind me saying this, but your perfumes match the image I have of you. Good choices. Don't know the last one though, probably a Canadian thing?

a little clubman aftershave... that's about it for me. never really did the cologne thing much because i was always around people with sensitive noses growing up.

I have a bit of a "scent layering" thing going on... First, Irish Spring "Original" soap... Then, Gillette "Cool Wave" gel deodorant... And lastly, Drakkar Noir cologne.

My woman just LOVES the way that I smell... :)

Yes, it is Canadian. I am a sucker for cosmetics, perfumes, lingerie, shoes... anything girly really hehe so I discovered Lise Watier recently.

And I have no doubt you must smell like a real man Phoenix :cathappy: The kind of smell that makes you ask," Just what cologne are you wearing you smell so good!?"

Yeah... I get stopped at the gas station, grocery store, etc. all the time by women just wanting to tell me that I smell good...

I bet you do! :p

I wear Beautiful by Estee Lauder. I've tried to find others to switch to, but haven't come across much that doesn't make me nauseous or headachey. I have a bunch of samples of Clinque Happy, and I like that that in periodic doses.

Hubby occasionally wears Eternity (and when he remembers to put it on, I attack! :p ), which I like because it's a clean, fresh, soapy smell. Again, we've tried finding others, but few agree with me for longer than a few minutes. As Phoenix noted, there's just something about a man who smells good; maybe it's that it shows he cares about himself and has the confidence to want to make an impression. I love the smell of a lot of men's soaps and deoderants too. :D
