This time of every month I open my Comcast bill and decide to change to DirectTV or FiOS. Then I start to look into the options and it just confuses me. So I set it aside... then the next month the same thing happens.

My Comcast bill is my single largest bill per month. It's twice as much as my electric bill; and I only watch 5-6 channels.

Happy birthday to Apollo 17's Harrison 'Jack' Schmitt! Jack was born July 3, 1935 and is 79 years old. He was the first NASA scientist to fly into space, Lunar Module Pilot on Apollo 17, 12th & last human to step foot on the Moon and was a United States Senator from New Mexico.


Of the 11 billion or so humans that have walked the Earth, only 12 have walked the moon.

I don't know why, but that fascinates me.

Meanwhile, back in the hills the zucchini plants are showing off. The summer squash are jealous and yet, doing their own version of showing off. The green beans are laying back a bit so that when they hit their stride, all the talk will be about them.
