I was just wondering what podcasts any of you listen to. I'm looking for something new.

Some of the ones I listen to now include:

Sword and Scale: Very good true crime story telling.

Bill Burr: Brilliant observations. Funniest comic out there.

Moth: I like the way they have the story tellers set on stage, by themselves, in front of complete strangers. I also like the variety of the stories they tell.

Serial: the first season at least. The second I have no desire to listen to.

My latest though has been Anna Faris is unqualified. That show has been a blast to listen to.

Anyone listen to others that they would like to share?

Thanks

Ferris has a podcast? Sweet! I do hope he's feeling better.

WTF with Marc Maron
All Songs Considered from NPR
The Nerdist with Chris Hardwick

Although I don't get the chance to listen often anymore. All Songs Considered is a nice Sunday morning/brunch kind of podcast, imo.

He has AIDS now. Wasn't sure a cold sweat.

I like WTF. It's not too bad.

I will have to check out Chris Hardwicks podcast.

I'm really looking for something different from my usual tastes though.

If you like Moth & Serial you might like Beautiful/Anonymous (Earwolf), The Untold (BBC) and Undisclosed

The TED talks are always worth a listen

I have a ridiculous number of podcasts that I dip in and out of but here's a few others to maybe check out:

Radiolab
99% Invisible
Hello Internet
Song Exploder
Stuff You Should Know

My Dad Wrote a Porno
Jeselnik and Rosenthal Vanity Project
(and then I listen to sports podcasts)

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History
Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend

And mostly technology related podcasts

Hello from the Magic Tavern

Welcome to Nightvale

I catch 2 Bears 1 Cave on YouTube when I can/when they come available. Two pro comedians who are also best friends IRL makes for some great chemistry.

This is a deep track thread find.

“How did this get made” is my current favorite. Paul, Jason and June are awesome.

"The way I heard it" with Mike Rowe is awesome.

"History Unplugged" is one of the most informative and right to the point history podcasts that I've found.

And I agree that Dan Carlin' s "Hardcore History" is great.

J&R is a good podcast.

Which sports ones do you listen to? I listen to DP live and catch the interviews I missed because I am working.

Hello from the Magic Tavern

- some episodes I laugh until I cry listening to this one. It’s whacky improv and so not what I would usually be into but fuck it is hilarious when they really hit it. It is irreverent and inappropriate and so off the wall. Give it a good few listens if that’s your humour style.

Armchair Expert
- Dax Sheperd and Monica Padman interviewing various famous or booksmart folk . Funny, insightful, warm.

Dax and Monica are awesome. I like that he has celebrities one week and experts the next. He is a smart fella. I also like the fact checks at the end. I have a good crush for Monica.

‘The watch’ and ‘the rewatchables’ on the ringer, as well as ‘stuff you should know.’

Also, some slate stuff.

Mostly the ringer stuff. Bill simmons, occasionally the lowe post (I realize it's not Ringer yet)
I forgot to mention How did this get made and Conan as well. I like comedy when I'm headed to and from the job I hate
