I have had a few of these not going to lie. But man they all ended in rather unfavorable circumstance either she had issues with me or I had issues with her, or we just did not connect well.

Those AOL and YIM chat rooms were quite fabulous. Though, I’m new to this community and find it quite nice so far!

I met two Lit ladies, hooked up with them, lovely dates, still friends years later.

Just curious who's all gone online just having fun and ended up hooking up for a bootie call in real life.

My younger years I did just that. I was just having fun and started talking to this guy, who lived in a different city, but same state, then me. We got to know each other, and my birthday was coming up and I wanted to do something wild and crazy. So I asked him about hooking up on my birthday, needless to say, I had a hell of a birthday. We hooked up a few more times after that but the distance thing became a pain and we just went our separate ways. I know they say it's a risk meeting someone online like that but hell, that's part of the excitement, the risk that's involved.

Anyone else have a story to share? Might be fun to talk about some adventures.

I’ve met 7 people IRL that started out online. Not all of them turned into anything physical. I learned a lot from each circumstance and had some delightful experiences I wouldn’t have had otherwise.

I started back in the Yahoo Chat days. Chatted online with a few, met up with a few, but there was one. She was semi-local and glorious but she was married and it became too complicated. After Yahoo Chat disappeared so did she.

I have met other Litsters as friends though and that has been wonderful.

That's the nice thing about lit, it does cater for friendship just as well or even better than for bootiecalls.
