Just curious, but on average how many PMs would you say you receive?

I'm always seeing little posts telling people to clean our their Pm box and it makes me jealous:D My Pm box is full of dust! If I'm lucky I'll receive one Pm every month or two, usually from someone who has never posted to the board and apparently disappears as soon as they Pm me. It's a truly sad state of affairs-LOL. Am I the only one who never receives any Pm action?

Anyway, I'm curious about how many Pms other people are getting, so I can be green with envy.
 
It just depends upon the day... I might get none one day, and maybe receive 7 or 8 the next.
 
on the average a bit over a hundred, just enough so I have to clean it daily.
 
I get about a dozen or more from my sexy Mapleman and then maybe about 4 or 5 or more others in a day.....
 
Aww it pays to whine around here. Three Pms in under 5 minutes. Thats a record for me! I jump every time the little pop up notice appears announcing a Pm! Now that people have acknowledged my existence I can go to bed a happy woman. Take care all, I'll see you in the morning.

I've been on the "net" since the early 90's and no matter what service I'm with, what forum I've joined etc, I HAVE NEVER RECIEVED AN IM OR PM or whatever they are calling it by using the abbreviated version of the word which is actually some big word that I can't spell that is like anarchy or sumthin. Now please don't get your panties in a wad and think you have to send me one. I insist that you don't. Hell the rate I'm going I;ll be dead before they let me have my very own AV around here anyway...... :( :mad:

sometimes I have to clean out the PM box a couple times a day...mostly because I talk too much and goad people into replying...:D
 
received 10 in total since February

But I dont send any - and I havent really made any effort to talk to anyone or get to know about anyone so my own fault really.

just post the odd comment here and there

I'm among the group that doesn't get many PMs, but I'm sorta new here so that makes sense. However, I have a small pet peeve about PMs. I've seen a few posts from people saying they were new to the board, looking to make new friends, etc. I've sent a few of these people PMs saying hello, welcome to the board, I'm new too, etc. The PM's I sent were just very general, friendly, "Hello, nice to meet you" type messages. None of these people have ever responded. What's up with that. A simple, hi, nice to meet you too would have been nice. :(
