My experience is that these things come and go. Not real fast, but you might get sick and tired of this particular fetish, and move on to something else.
As far as feeling wierd about it, yeah. Those words carry a lot of negative connotation, no matter how hard we try to 'reclaim' them. And if someone you're doing this with is malicious, his negativity is going to come through his words. Find out who that person is and don't let them in your space again. We can be pretty vulnerable when we are sexually involved.
