Playgrounders And Proud Of It

I wanted to get kicking on the writing RED because so far in 2012, I seem to be firing on all burners and deadlines are back where they should be. Aside from Saturday / Sunday and earlier today being in excrutiating pain every so often, I haven't had much discomfort. If I have to dope myself up like I did yesterday, it's a bit harder to focus on work - hell, even sitting up is difficult. *chuckle*

That's part of the problem in a nutshell RED hon - my tolerance to medications.

I started on medical regimen when I was 4 for an illness I no longer have. They had to up the dosage a number of times. I tend to build up a tolerance. Same happened with my hay fever meds - they would change them around, because after a while, one wouldn't work.

Flash forward to 1991 - first few meds they tried were dismal failures until we hit on the current combo in mid-1998. Problem is, because I take SO MANY pills, my system is always medicated. Pain meds - what would work for a normal person often is useless to me. It took a DOUBLE dose of Oxycontin yesterday to finally kick in some relief. They're addictive as well, but I'm not concerned - I've never had that tendency. I was advised to stay AHEAD of the pain, so will likely take a does in an hour or so.

As long as I can think, I should be gwarp thinkle mot ...

I do understand needing more pain meds than some as well as the whole stay ahead of the pain, it's a good idea.

Hopefully things will speed up for you. :rose:

I am just thankful the worst is over RED - I expected a lot worse than things are now. I'm able to eat (although the desire comes and goes) and I'm functioning. Not sure when the next step will take place - not going to rush it, taking it one day at a time.

I think she meant the latter Zschach - I know RED's younger than I am (although technically, I'm retired)

Retired from gainful employment - meaning you'll wonder how you ever found the time to go to work - or retired from "new member" ceremonies?
Yep, retired from ceremonies. I actually am hoping to return to the work force. I'm 38, but have been a stay at home mom for most of the 18 years I've been a mom.

Just stopping in to say Hi to everybody :D~~~:)

Hello lovely. :rose: :)

Also dropping in to say hello.

I am hoping to recover my pace, spent the last two days not feeling well and didn't get a lot of writing done. Finished one early this AM and started another before common sense dragged me off to bed to continue my recovery.

Nice to hear. From an event that occurred a few minutes ago, I see that I am not 100% recovered. I will work for a bit until my body says "no more" and then rest again.

Keep plugging RED - sometimes it's in the details.

Thanks RED hon, I hope that I'm back to myself soon as well. Not sure why I'm so exhausted - might be because I'm not eating as much as normal (for obvious reasons) and my body is a bit run down. Or I have a bug or the antibiotic I am taking doesn't like me. Or a bit of all of them.

Thanks again.

I'd never heard of it until I read that link LING.

Interesting, athough I do make part of my living writing erotica, I sure as hell don't make that kind of buckage.

Stopping in to say Hi & leaving hugs & :kiss:s before Iam going to Work:)
wow you replaced your G/F Av:eek:

Before I saw that RED had not posted I thought you might be referring to her as hers is a bit different as well.

Yep, you're actually seeing my face (albeit from a few years / pounds ago) LING.

What the hell, it'll keep the crows outta our corn.
