I was never offered the opportunity to become a presenter RED, so didn't happen to me.

Odd that you're one of the last presenters out here and all the other regs of that time have all-but vanished. I've outlasted most.

Okay, with the fact I talk like Walter Brennan right now and am a LIT vet, maybe I am old.

Couldn't tell you the last time I saw him RED - nice to know he's still here though.

Sorry for the late response, doing a few things that had me occupied elsewhere. Still in a bit of a fog, so multi-tasking is not as simple as in days past.

I heard it this morning, Canada is going to start phasing them out.
 
A similar story posted last year RED. I've heard it before and I'll believe it when I see it - unless our idiot Prime Minister has made it part of his mandate.

I guess you can tell I didn't vote for him, huh?

When it is on the front page of the newspaper, I will believe it but I strongly doubt it will happen for a while yet. It would take some doing because you'd have to give people a chance to turn them in. Does it make sense? Yes? But do I see it happening soon? Hell, no.

Yep, our idiot PM has made it part of the budget to phase out the penny. Maybe that's so he can avoid the phrase "A penny for your thoughts" because all smart Canadians know he doesn't have too many.

Evening RED - working on some new stuff tonight, I may pull an all-nighter (or at least very late) as I slept for almost 15 hours today. Lots of energy and it's relatively peaceful here too.

How are things with you? I've been meaning to ask, nephew still with you?

I have a new story out today, it actually appeared last night. I submitted another one to editing. I worked more on my longer story, changing the opening season.
 
Nice going RED - I have plots for 6 stories in my current folder, but the one I am working on tonight came to me and it's the one calling out first. I will adapt it for LIT later on, a few of these newer ones are not in my usual vein, which is fun. This one touches on an issue I know all-too well, so I can write from experience and hopefully, the readers will see it as well.

I will give your story a read when I take a break.
