I write a lot, but I still see things I want to try when I read other stories. If you read other works, they can inspire your own. So keep looking at the site. Don't be afraid to be bold and try new things.

I always write in past tense, except when I write in 1st person, which is rarely. It's the flow between dialogue and narrative that gets me in trouble, but I'm working on it. That's where I typically tend to change the tense.

Poetry? I wish I kept my folders from way back when. *sigh* I had a few I thought might be worthy. I submitted a poem last night, but it's nothing like the ones I used to write. Just haven't felt moved to write poetry lately. The one I submitted last night didn't rhyme, all the ones I've written in the past have, even if they were of a dark nature, so this one felt a bit awkward. Tolyk (who is still MIA) asked me what kind of poem... I told him "a crappy one" lol Oh well, if no one else gets it, it still has meaning to me.

Can't do them evenings nor in the morning

Should I try to write erotic musings

My name does mean something, but not what I thought it did when I made it up 13 years ago :D It's a russian nickname, short for Anatoly, which is the equivalent of Anthony.. Therefore Tolyk == TOny

Nope, I'm Canadian, with French and German ancestory. I made the name up when I was 11, and found out it was Russian a few years back.
