Mine is done

I re-set up my Entertainment Center yesterday, wired it all so it is in full stereo.

I still have about 50 DVD's to watch and some tapes. Most of my tapes are already filed. I have nearly 1000 tapes.

Long day and then this evening I went to a baseball game...4 rows back from the dugout and the players were so yummy.

I got one to toss me a ball.....damn no autographs.

I'm just glad Brett didn't use red font to point out all the corrections, it would've looked like it was bleeding if he had. I didn't realize I had such a horrible time with verb tenses. That's what I get for trying to convert from 1st to 3rd person and add on to a story.

If you look at my first few stories on Lit. that was my biggest problem. I'm better at it, but my editor still catches some for me sometimes. I try to read it before I send it to him first, to ease his headaches. But he has told me that there isn't much for him to edit. My biggest thing I'm trying to get away from is using "and" alot, so he's helped me to learn when and (lol) where to put in my semi-colon and colon.

SHANNON and RED - I alway suggest setting a story in past tense, it's easier to keep in your head.

I write a lot, but I still see things I want to try when I read other stories. If you read other works, they can inspire your own. So keep looking at the site. Don't be afraid to be bold and try new things.

Except for me. Never, NEVER trying poetry.

After Brett worked his magic on it and I made the few corrections, I sent it to some of my other friends.... my ex boyfriend being one of em. Gracious and honest man that he is, admitted he dropped the ball, apologized and has been great ever since... though he admits to pausing between the editing process to take a couple of cold showers

When I edit ....

I turn off my "sex"mode when editing ... so if you can arouse me while I am editing, you have really written a PHENOMENAL story, in my opinion.

I just shut it off, because I am trying to find the ERRORS and typos and such, and can't be distracted.
