The mountains of Arkansas are beautiful. Reminded me of The Lord of the Rings, though it's been years since I read the books and haven't seen the movie. Puget Sound around Seattle is great. The pacific coast highway. Any leg of the Appalachian Trail in the lower southeast. Any island group in the Pacific. My sister claims that coastal South Africa is the prettiest place in the world, but I haven't been there. Had a friend stationed in Antarctica. It's incredible.
