What about us veterans? Did we enter a weakened state after our service that we can no longer control the weapons that u claim are "too powerful" in " the hands of civilians"?

People with agendas like yours are very narcissistic. Im sure u have the belief that Hitler was bad (and he was), but u hold the same moral philosophy that he did, and that is that your belief is morally superior to others and that bc of that, your belief should trump that of others....u just lack the power to enforce it. Ironic that someone so hated by everyone, is exactly like a lot of people in this world. They want their superior beliefs to restrict peoples freedoms. If u dont like peoples freedoms to have weapons, why dont u move to China or Australia or virtually anywhere in Europe. The fact that so many Americans are armed is one of the primary reasons, if not the primary reason, why other countries dont try to invade us. We have the largest military in the world in that sense. Sure Japan had a sneaky attack, and there is the occasional terrorist attack, but u have never experienced repeated bombings and destruction war causes becaause of our freedom to own weapons. But just like we have the freedom to own, u also have the freedom to not own. Sounds to me like the best of both worlds.

Your rants are getting completely out of control.

First, the .223 round used in the AR-15 is NOT powerful. Most hunting rifles are far more powerful. The previous military rifles like the M1 or M14 are far more powerful. The M16 (AR-15) style rifle was mainly chosen because the rifle is shorter, lighter, and the ammo weighs less. So, for the infantry who carries it all and misses most of their shots anyway, it allows them to send more bullets down range faster.

Second, you have the option to move to a place which long ago enacted strict gun ownership laws. Go there and educate yourself with the results!!! Review the gun control laws of MEXICO, and I'm sure you'd be pleased to see what you want enacted everywhere! You could move there to enjoy your feeling of safety, knowing your fellow citizens aren't legally buying AR-15's.

Third, to designate it as WMD would have the entire U.S. military and many armies around the world constantly employing WMD, and all of their soldiers charged as war criminals! You're like Chicken Little crying "the sky is falling" or the boy crying "wolf" so often, people just tune out the mindless rant.



And finally, the Admins should move this thread to "Politics" forum where it belongs.

As a gun owner I have no agenda. U may want to do a deeper dive on your statistics before trying to use them to validate your point. There is a breakdown, if u further research the numbers, that show that nearly 60% of gun related deaths were suicide. So to use the total #'s of gun related deaths as the basis for gun control is just a push for the narrative to disarm americans.

However, if the argument is about saving "kids" lives is the basis for the argument, then my point is still valid about banning cars bc teen drivers are the highest risk for car crash fatalities. Or maybe even ban cell phones bc of their influence in distracting drivers. So where does it all end? How about people just start growing up, paying attention and do the best they can and try and do the right thing....and if u screw up, own it and take the penalty that comes with it. Quit trying to live life by the philosophy of " if one person craps their britches, then we need to make everyone wear diapers"

This has been chewed endlessly on the Politics board by the ammosexuals who are really upset at the thought of someone in drag reading a story from a book, but get equally upset at the thought of not being able to polish their barrels daily and being able to defend themselves against the screaming hordes of commies coming over the hill from the neighboring blue state.

They balance the equation by offering their thoughts and prayers whenever children are shot, and blame the schools for not being equipped with armored shelters.

Always, the first point is 'What's the definition of an assault weapon' That's swiftly followed by a challenge to distinguish between a clip & magazine, then how exactly a trigger should be squeezed. Anyone who gets the answers wrong is eliminated from the discussion on how children should not be shot.

If desperate, they blame mental illness for the shooting (but never how mentally ill people should be prevented from having access to lethal weaponry).

This needs to be moved back to the Politics Board, where crazy people will use BOLD to shout and multi-color words as if they were cut from newspaper or magazines (and RED because it looks scarier) and appear threatening. It needs to go to the thread where extremists use warped logic and refuse to acknowledge scientific and mechanical facts, repeating the same tired point: that if everyone would agree to ban this one machine because it looks and sounds scary, then all the crazy people would live in peace.

And the rest of us can go back to looking for posts in this thread for more pictures of tits. (EDIT: Or other body parts and ways to enjoy them.)
