pic in sig line

How do I put a picture in my signature line?

I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

In my sig options, it states that image codes are off--is this the key? I have no idea how to turn them on.

Give the blond a clue, okay? Pretty please with sugar on top?
And a cherry?

Adding Images

To include a picture or graphic within the body of your message, you can simply surround the address of the image as shown here:

[url]http://www.literotica.com/forum/http://www.literotica.com/images/forumlogo.gif[/url] (no spaces..I had to put them in so it wouldn't try to show a pic.

Note that the http:// part of the image URL is required for the code. You can even create a thumbnail-type hyperlink by surrounding your [img] code with a [url] code like this: (again NO spaces) [ url=http://www.literotica.com/forum/http://www.literotica.com/images/forumlogo.gif ][img ]http://www.literotica.com/forum/images/simple/vb_bullet.gif[ /img][/url ] pic will look like this: [url=http://www.literotica.com/forum/http://www.literotica.com/images/forumlogo.gif][img]http://www.literotica.com/forum/images/simple/vb_bullet.gif[/url]

Actually, you can scroll down on this page and you will see at the bottom "forum rules" under that it will say You may edit your posts....click on IMG, its a link to the how to page.

Thanks, but at the bottom of my sig line, you can see that I have already followed those directions before asking my question.

It does not help--there is something more that must be done. But I have no idea whatsoever about what that is.

(It made it a clickable link instead of showing the picture--the only thing you don't see here is the "img" stuff)

You know what...It is possible that because it is only a link to an area in this site, and not a .jpg link, that may be the problem?
I'm looking more into it though. It may be to my benefit too.

Well, shit!

I tried both suggestions above and had no luck.

Does it have anything to do with it saying next to my profile area that "images are off" ?

I really do believe I have followed the directions to the letter but have had zero luck.

Can someone who has a picture in their sig line give me an answer?
