Pic in Lit Story Bio??

For some reason, I cannot get a picture to remain part of my story bio page. I had one, and then I attempted to change it. It does load, it saves, the pic shows up on my edit main profile page, yet nothing ever shows up on my bio page.

WHAT on earth am I not doing? I've changed pic formats (jpeg, btmp, gif) and tried different sizes (a wide variety). I'm stumped.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them! (I'm sure I am failing to do some simple thing, but it is pissing me off!!!)

I seem to remember that it can take up to 24 hours before the picture there are visible on your profile. It have something to do with when the database is updated.

My pictures always show up immediately. I've never had one that didnt show up.

I'd all but given up on my photo appearing on my bio page after I changed it recently, but about 5/6 days later it appeared.

Shouldn't imagine they are checking all the pics out to make sure they are suitable! Maybe it just gets updated once or week or something these days.

The picture on your member's profile must be approved by Laurel or Manu, and then the page must be regenerated before it shows up.

There may also be a size limit, but I have no idea what it is -- I dont think I've seen one larger than 640 x 480, most seem to be about half that size.

If it's been more than 48 hours, then E-mail Laurel at the webmaster@Literotica.com address.

Oh - by the way - I've been meaning to thank you for one of your posts I found in a search I did recently. You discussed IrfanView to use with pictures -

That freeware program is wonderful - I've been able to access and toy with many pictures - thanks for the tip!
