Philando Castile

Because Fawkin Injun is a situational racist.

If this guy was a white rancher, do you think he'd be looking at traffic violations and calling him a 'career criminal'?

Him and all the other wingnuts are looking for something, anything that they can say to discredit a man who was murdered for doing nothing other than exercising his second amendment rights.

I guess we all need to be more conscientious like Cap'nHypoCreep.

Americans have made racial gun dramas their new summer sport.

But there's very little mystery here.

- cop pulls over car
- asks driver for docs
- cop is told driver is carrying
- driver told to not move
- driver makes a move
- driver shot

We do not know that. It was only stated by that sociopathic monotone in the video after the shooting. At this date, we do not know if it was stated prior. We do know where the gun was as verses where a wallet would be...

Okay, if you leave that out....when a cop has their hand on their weapon and says "don't move"...not moving is the correct response.

It's really not complicated nor requires much analysis.

unable to successfully blame teh victim, the Chief effortlessly switches gears to blame teh witness.

Hey Chief, how would you react if someone pointed a smoking gun at you with your little "daughter" in the back seat?

Wrong thread, PervBoy. The topic isn't about daughters you wish would be killed in a fire or Lit people with cancer you want to die a slow, painful death.

Sick fucking bastard.

Your disconnect from reality and being human is duly noted.

AJ sees a black man's wallet and thinks "gun". Or maybe, this picture was just an excuse for him to stare at a black man's crotch for hours.

That's the more likely story.

And verbalizing on the part of the driver pulled over. I talk to the officer, I tell him my registration and insurance are in the glovebox, that I have CCL and the gun is not in the glovebox, the gun is not here/in the holster, yada, yada, yada.

To date, even though I am dark-skinned, I have not been shot.

I lived in Overland Park, KS, so I know about being pulled over for not being white. I didn't have a CCL then, so I never had a gun with me.

That's only cuz they missed.

According to an interview the night after, his girlfriend said that Philando said 'I have a concealed weapon', which if these is his exact words, didn't not inform the officer that he was a legal CCW holder.

That is why, as a CCW myself, the exact words you say to a police officer in an encounter are crucial. As I posted before, what a CCW holder should do in a traffice stop is put your hands on top of the steering wheel, don't move, and say 'Officer, for your safety and mine, I want you to know I have a permit to carry, and am carrying, how do you wish to proceed?' Then follow the officers instructions to the letter.

In my only LEO encounter, once it was established I was carrying, and not a threat, the officer and I discussed my firearm, why I chose it, and the Vikings.

Did the officer tell you not to move?

The cop murdered a man over misuse of words when a weapon wasn't even drawn?

Murdered?

Did I miss the trial?

Exact wording is important when you are a CCW.

I don't know where the firearm was, some say in his waistband, some say on his lap, the cop says he saw it, but at least we know it wasn't drawn, thanks for clearing that up.

Cops react to guns, we had another officer murdered last year on a routine traffic stop. So when a cop says don't move, become a statue.

Yup, that's the nub of it.

The rest is the usual GB circle jerk.

I'm more interested in the forces behind the growth of BLM.

Is it truly organic... or funded by American politics... or is it outside influence seeking to weaken the USA from the inside?

lol…
Up till now, my theory was: someone who's inclined to have more conservative views = more conscientious, so an early morning riser.

Or...

Up all night drinking, haven't been to bed yet.

You need a new theory, hash. That one has more holes in it than Philando.

.

This is the only sensible way it can be handled. Saying "I have a gun in the car/on my body" is a recipe for disaster.

Disgustashithead's post is exactly the type of stewpidity that does nothing but pour salt into the wound and make things worse.

People like him stick with the narrative at all cost. They hate facts and the truth and will never, ever admit they are wrong.

And if you had been black, and in Falcon Heights, you would have possibly been shot.

I also follow directives excessively if pulled over by police, but the bottom line is that I shouldn't have to be so concerned about it.

The police have become militarized and are more and more aggressive each and every year.

If I am not a criminal, and I am stopped, I shouldn't have to fear for my life. Even if I AM a criminal and I'm stopped by the police, and I'm not threatening imminent bodily harm or extreme violence, I shouldn't have to fear for my life. It's the police's job to be professional when they decide (because no one forced this officer to pull over Castile) to engage in a traffic stop.

It's not right.

The police don't own us. And while I understand their job can be challenging at times, that's what they get paid for.

If they fuck up, and in this case, they fucked up, they should be punished for it.

The FBI have data showing that black lives don't matter?

It's buried on page two right now...

Facts don't matter.

After every outrage, we are told don't blame Islam, the majority is GOOD!

Don't blame blacks for violence of a few (blame white people and guns, or both)!

But when it comes to cops, well I guess cops are not a Democrat constituency, so you can blame them in toto!

No, the details are in a new study just released. It basically shows that blacks are 20% LESS likely to be shot in potentially deadly encounters than a white man.

Racial Bias in Police Shootings.

And yet, you're one of the people who keep bringing race into this conversation.

Again, if race wasn't an issue for you in this case, you'd be standing up for this guy for exercising his second amendment rights.

This thread started out all about race. It's always been all about race in this incident.

Idiot.
