Me, for one, Darlin'...

Someone climbs up on my ass while I'm driving, and I slow right down deliberately... And do all I can to make sure they can't pass me, too...

If you pull out in front of me, with a road full of empty behind me...and drive 35 in a 55...you can slow right down deliberately, all you want. One a dirt road, it's hard to make it where someone can't pass you!http://forums.keeptouch.net/images/smilies/nod.gif If you do it when it is dark out, I'm VERY good at headlights in the rearview!

I don't tailgate unless you race to pull out in front of me, then poke along. What's wrong with people?

The latest pet peeve to hit me yesterday evening....

I hate when a car pulls from a side road onto the main road in front of me. On the country roads I drive, it happens all the time. If I'm doing 60, and there's no one behind me, why not wait until I pass? Instead, they pull out in front of me and drive 35 or 40.

Thank you! It's one of mine as well. Actually, it just happened to me driving back home: I was going 110 down the highway (right lane), then some punk past me, cut in front of me and slowed down to 102. Okay, fine. So I pass him, and keep on driving at 110. Then the little bugger did the the exact same thing as before! What, he couldn't stand the idea of a woman driving faster than him? And that last statement is probably someone's pet peeve...

110? It's not that fast actually - I do upto 140

Edit to Add: And I've just realised that I was talking in metric. 110 is something like 70 mph, 102 is about 64-65 mph. 140 is 87.5. Sorry! I'm such an idiot at times, which come to think of it, is another one of mine. Does this mean that I'm my own pet peeve?

And seeing how this is an international forum, I should've realised that not everybody uses metric. So, shall we agree and declare ourselves idiots?

And I know what you mean about being your own pet peeve. Sometimes I'm astounded as to how much I annoy myself.

That happened to me last night driving home and went on for about an hour, until I blew him a kiss the last time and put my foot down - yes I broke the speed limit but sheesh that guy was pissing me off!

Um, you know, I think I'm going to let that one pass. However, a little food for thought. Yes, the stubborn USA of fails to see the beautiful logic of metric, but it did produce some fine minds: John Nash, Ruth Benedict Fulton, the guy who invented Post-Its. The U.S. will come around. Eventually. And realise that metric will rule the earth.

Here's another one: people who wear too much perfume/cologne. It's the cause of my scale 10 migraine. Whenever I smell someone drenched in Axe Body Spray or Ralph Lauren, I want to put them in a shower and not in a good way...

I absolutely hate that! On top of, if you make a fresh pot, leave, come back 10 minutes later, the pot is empty and you have to start all over again!
That's why I have my own coffee maker.

LOL that's my biggest pet peeve in the mornings around here....seems I'm always making the coffee but only getting 1 cup outta the pot and have to make at least 3 pots just to get a few cups lol I mean c'mon do a girl a favor every now and then
