I had a cell phone, when I worked as a subcontractor for DirecTV. I need to be available for emergency service calls... Where I live, cell coverage is sparse, to say the least... More than half the time, I couldn't get a signal... When I went back to cooking, I got rid of the cell... And I have really been a much happier person since I dumped it...

I don’t really know what peeves off my pets but I think – judging from the looks they shoot me – it’s when their food and water dishes aren’t full, when the litter box isn’t pristine and when I’m not standing by the door ready to either let them in or out depending on their mood. Also, there is this certain look I get, that I interpret as meaning “yeah, even though we allow you to live in our house with us – please don’t forget that you are here to serve us and oh, by the way, this business you have about wiggling your feet at night must cease – it disturbs our curling up at the foot of the bed.”

There is a young lady I work with who does this....daily. I tend to understand it as she is working in a male dominated arena, but at times it drives me insane.
No matter what the topic, she has done it as well. I can say I took a trip on the space shuttle and sure enough, so has she. On top of it all, while you are telling the story you can see her just biting at the bit to get her fake story in.

When you sit down and relax with a book or the morning paper......and then some fucker starts talking to you. At first your polite and nod to accept that they are there..........you forget what line your on, so you start the paragraph again.....only for them to interupt again........ Grrrrrrr

you end up reading the same bastard line like 5 times.....and its even worse when your in work, cos you can't tell them to just " fuck off "....ya know
