I know you've got 'em. What are the things that make you grit your teeth in frustration? You know-when you struggle with your inner self to be a nice person, but you just feel like smackin' someone/something?

Vent. Whine. Complain. Gripe. Scream if you have to...

Why not? I will.:)

-People who bring 20 items into the 8 and under line at the supermarket and the cashiers who don't say anything to them.

-People who get into their car in a crowded parking lot, knowing you are waiting for them to pull out, but have to find their cigs and light up first before they move the car.

-People who park in a marked "disabled person's only" spot when they are not disabled.

People who borrow things without asking.
People who block the entire street because they really have to talk to the person in the car going the other way.
People who abandon their pets. ::grrrrrrr::

Tollways - I hate them, don't I pay enough taxes already?

Skinny people that talk about dieting - give me a break.

Spam in my inbox and junk mail in my mail box.

Getting behind someone that needs a "price check" at Walmart.

Buying something at full price that goes on sale the next day.

Having 20 salepersons ask me if I need help when I don't and then not ONE being available when I do.

When I bring a lady home and she uses my restroom, and leaves that damn seat down.

When someone rushes to pull out in front of me, then slows down.

I hate to bitch, but...

But that's just it. I try to keep a positive outlook, and yet it seems like almost everything I post gets overlooked. I'm -thrilled- when someone answers anything, even if it's to challenge what I've written, because it allows for some kind of interaction on the board. What burns is that I know if I invented some crisis, I'd rack up the responses like nobody's business, but that isn't the kind of attention I want, so I try to stay positive and crisis free.

It never pays to be nice.

And no, I'm not going to name names, because this phenomenon isn't unique to this board. It dates all the way back to kindergarten. I think the saying "The squeaky wheel gets the grease." sums it up pretty well.

Other than that, I can't think of anything bitch-worthy. :)

Number One:
People who bring their cell phones and noisy ass kids to the movies and don't shut them up.

Number Two:
New Mexico drivers

#1: People who post smart-alecky replies to my threads!!!

Die, all of you!

:)

Funny I would personally reply to you, but you dont think I am a person...

But I do have ways of being contacted

People who don't at least try to cover their mouths when they sneeze.

People who ride public transportation and insist upon taking one seat for themselves and another seat for their shopping bags/knapsacks/briefcases.

Rock radio stations in NYC. They play the same dozen songs over and over again until I feel like pitching my radio out the window.

People who let their dogs crap all over the street and then walk away without cleaning up the mess.

I also can't stand it when people bring more than 10 items into the express lane. But what's worse is the person who decides he doesn't want the item after it's already rung up, and so the cashier needs to call for a void.

Whew! I feel so much better now. :D

Someone kicking my seat from behind in the movie theatre.

When I'm standing in a long line like at a fast-food joint or the deli counter at the market, I hate it when someone finally gets to the front and hasn't figured out what it is that they want to order.

When I get e-mail or IMs where the person can't manage to use real words. (How r u?)

Holding the door for someone behind me to come in, and not getting a thank you in reply.

People who drive expensive cars thinking they own the road and are entitled to do things other people can't.

People who talk with food in their....

mouths, especially egg salad or scrambled eggs. I also dislike tailgaters and those folks that merge into traffic at the last minute and weve in and out of traffic. Also, those lovely folks who work on the phone who call me by my first name when they don't even know me. And those people that "will just be a second" and leave you hanging until tomorrow. And people who always criticize without ever saying a nice thing about anyone. And the incivility and coldness in the world. And threads about your "favorite" anything, except mine, about t.v. commercials. And diet commercials and I'm going to sleep.

Night all!

Doctors and Contractors

They make you make an appointment, wear a gawd-awful expensive rolex, and then keep time like a third-world goat herder who knows only this morning, this afternoon, or manana!

Drivers that go the speed limit or less in the left-hand lane on the southwest freeway.

My wife when she sighs because I give those drivers 'the look' [can you say road rage]

Stupid people.

Low lifes pretending to be VIPs.

Snakes of any kind.

#2: Having someone hurt my feelings, then having to pretend like nothing's wrong.

#3: Anyone hurting/abusing children mentally or physically. Completely unacceptable.

#4: People who take chances on whether they're okay to drive.

#5: Having professors here that don't really speak english...WTF! This is a major school!:)

Wow, I didn't think anyone was going to be rude on this thread. Guess some people just can't help their negative attitudes.

I have a prof who does not speak english. His accent is impossible to understand. I have been to his lectures every class, and still have yet to understand what he's going over. I'm lucky because I took this course in high school. I already know a little bit about the subject, but those who don't are completely lost. You know what? I admire him for learning a new language and new social customs. You know what else? He should not be teaching a university course. We take departmental tests, not tests written by him, and if we aren't learning the material, we aren't going to score well. I think it's wonderful that he is learning American customs. I admit that I'm not as diverse. I don't speak Chinese. But...I'm not trying to teach in a university over there. He shouldn't be a prof here. We spend a lot of money to attend this fine school and learn the material. I for one would like to get my money's worth. This particular prof is not an acceptable instructor. That's the bottom line.

Who is being rude? And isn't the purpose of the thread to vent about pet peeves?
