Performance pills (sci-fi/fantasy)

Saw an ad for some “male performance” edibles. First I was excited as I didn’t know what they were and thought a new edible brand hit the market as I need to get high in the worst way. Instead though, it was a guy talking vaguely about how it improved his sex life and let him “be the man my wife deserves”

…so then I thought: what if there was some performance pills that literally transformed you into the perfect lover for your partner? Like you turn into their favorite celebrity or fictional character and know how to perfectly please them.

Characters could learn things about their partner they never knew or didn’t want to know (MC turns into his dad and wife already seems familiar with him, wife is opposed to the idea until MC suddenly turns into a freaking dragon)

What if the pills were linked. A couple each took one half, and they turned into each others fantasies?
Maybe he turns into a movie star she loves, and she turns into her mother?
He turns into her boss, and she turns into his sister?
Lots of possibilities for any kink you want.
Hell, she's surprised to find they turned into the same movie star (rhymes with Brian Rennels)
Or he turns into some celeb, while she doesn't change at all because she's already his ideal fantasy?

I'm going to pull back on the reins just a bit and suggest the pills just return the strength, stamina and sexual vigor of the partaker. A Viagra, that works on the entire body, basically. But the effects are sadly temporary, a day or so, and there is a bit of a hangover period afterward. Exhaustion, soreness, dehydration.

Maybe a man is terminally ill and is at home under doctor's care, with a full-time nurse. At some point, lamenting his lost vigor, talks the nurse into getting him some of those pills.

"But John. Those will shorten what time you have left." she says, her voice full of concern.

"So what? So my family can continue visiting, trying their best to not mention I'm dying? Trying to fill the visit with small talk so they can pretend everything is just hunky-dory? I'll pass, thanks. Get me a few of those pills and hire me an escort so I can have a few golden days before it's over."

Nurse Janet purses her lips and thinks for a minute. "Under one condition. I have to be here and participating just in case you have a bad reaction to the drug."
