This thread will soon be deleted...

This thread is to be deleted, I made for a friendly discussion but as usual people want to do nothing but fill the thread with all kinds of bickering.

My face doesn't appear on any of my pictures.

Nor will it.

I quite like the fact that there are people here who look at my pics and get to see me without my clothes.

Then the same people can pass me in the street and not even realise that I am the same person.

They could see me in the street and think wow wouldn't mind seeing a bit of that without realising they already have and can do whenever they want just by visiting my thread.

I guess over time this may change. I don't know. But until it does my face won't appear.

That's cool DK...

even if people recognize you I don't think they'll care or they won't even make fun of you.

Doing this could be a good chick magnet.

Like you, I have a problem with people that don't show their faces, but I understand a lil about why they do it, perhaps they don't want certain people to find out what they are doing(though really, if it's your mother or spouse, they probably know anyways what you look like) so I guess it's their decision and we should respect that decision. Like you said, we do have the choice not to view that particular thread.

I don't think family members are gonna come on here to see they know you do this, I mean, you do have to register to see the pics (which is why LIT does that for privacy from the outside of this board)...so I don't see that big of a problem. Most family members are offended at sites like this so no one has to worry about them coming here.

Well that is probably true, but some of the excuses Ive had people tell me why they do it, is they dont want people to find out, lame excuse but oh well

perhaps it is more like you could be fired from your job if you happen to be recognized at a place like lit, esp if you post nudes

Personally, I think the only reason they do this is that they are shy and don't have the full confident enough to show their face, I don't think it has anything to do with being recognized by other people they know.

why don't you tip your hat back and lets see your face....dumbass

the only thing i see as being lame in this thread is the fact that some people cannot fathom reasoning other than their own...now that is, in my opinion, the definition of shallow

As long as you don't do this "on the job", a boss is NOT gonna fire you for this 'cause they will know it's your business and privacy alone. Many people who post nude pics here who show their faces, I'm sure they all work a full time day job.

i believe there are some jobs that are a little more delicate in the use of your private life than others...start thinking outside your box

All jobs know that whatever you do outside work, people can freely do whatever they want. A boss is not gonna care if he/she suddenly sees a nude pic of you on here as long as you don't post 'em on the computer at the work place, that's the point I'm trying to make. You know I'm right, I think you're just another one of those negative attention whores in here since you called someone a dumbass here for no apparent reason.

you are wrong

there are morality clauses in many contracts that could be invoked if you were caught posting nudes on the internet...not everyone's private life is "free" to do as you please

you are one of those who think that we are free to do as we please as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else...sorry, that is a misnomer...we are free to do as we please, however, there may be a punishment or retribution for doing so

the negativity is coming from someone complaining about a person's need for privacy no matter the reason and not understanding that there are people and jobs that do not let one be as "free" as they want to be

i called the other poster a dumbass because they stated that the excuse for not posting a face was lame...while never posting a pic of themselves and hiding behind a hat in their AV

Sure I like to see their faces, they're the nicest bit lots of the time. But I totally understand people's reasons not to, and respect that.

I can't really get excited about nude pics anyway unless it's someone I know. Although I still have a look now and again.

Here, is a pic of my face, Dont call me Dumbass again. by the way Thanks Slinger, I wasnt really interested in responding to the attention Whore, so thanks for watching my back

No problem nightsshadow. what looking4it said to you was uncalled for.

This thread is just a simple discussion debate. I'm not trying to stir up crap with this board. Just wanted to see if anyone else is bothered with people not showing their faces, and I see that I'm not alone.

I'm not trying to talk shy people into showing their face 'cause they choose to show their face all they want.

And thumbs down for looking4it. Just ignore him. He doesn't have a damn clue what he's talking about. People do what they want outside of work, if a boss is gonna fire an employee just for posting a nude pic on the internet that had nothing to do with the job, that would ground for a lawsuit against the company. It ain't like a boss is gonna come on here, see an employee naked and fire him/her the next day they show up at work. looking4it isn't that smart.

look slingblade...you are completely daft if you think that someone's job isn't on the line for posting here...i know people who have a similar vocation that feel some anxiety for posting on the GB alone

sorry if you cannot admit that we don't live in the land that is fully of the free and the brave...if you have never read a story about someone being fired for a morality clause for actions outside the work place then perhaps you should read a newspaper more often

Yes, many people have been fired off the job for posting sexual pics online when they weren't on the job, but you know what? That fired employee has filed lawsuits and many the employees won the lawsuits. If it had nothing to do with on the job, they have no reason to be fired. It's just the boss being "sexist".

sorry...you have stated that it is wrong (which i agree) and couldn't happen (which apparently you don't back up with your own statement)...from where i come from many does not equal all and apparently it does happen and you are aware of it

and to what degree of quality of life as well and maintaining a job in the same field do you think that those many still have...do you think that they would all think it was worth the trouble of suing?

my whole point is that it is possible and the repercussions are great for some people...whether it is right or wrong is not the issue...the issue is whether it is a possibility, and a life altering possibility at that...win or lose a lawsuit like that and i don't think anyone really wins in the end

To the powers that be of Lit, I do realize the rules and I humbly apologize for posting my pic in this thread, I will not do so again, I was just proving a point in the thread.

Well said. Anyone with common sense knows that a school teacher, a coach or daycare worker who was found to be posting nude pics or even visiting a site such as this would have there job status put in jeopardy.

As long as they don't do it on the job, there is nothing wrong with that. It's the point I'm trying to make all along! Bosses don't care what employees do in their private time off the job.
