How do we get images restored?

Posting this here because I cannot find any site-policy forum.

In their zeal to make the Lit SFW, the mods have not only banned nude pics, they have made it impossible to display any pics or images in a thread -- if you try to post one, only the link will be visible.

How do we get this changed back?

Sounds like the Trump administration is aggressively cracking down on all forums.

You can PM them directly. They don’t always reply to PMs, but they definitely read them. @Laurel @Manu

You can also add your voice to the feedback thread on the Lit Tech Support Forum.

I also PM one of the Mods a message about the same thing, but last Monday, the pictures were there doing fine, and all of a sudden, I only see the links (you have to click on the links to see the pictures).

This area has some rules about comportment and decorum when addressing matters and encourages contributors to treat others respectfully. [You can tell that's not followed by a lot of us here. But still, it is a lofty principle: Respect the right of an individual to express varied views without personal attacks in response.

I try but admittedly fail on occasion. I'm human, most days.

I'm not speaking for others here about going to other political sites for debate.

I stumbled onto Lit during COVID-19, having been isolated from the outside world. I read a few stories, thought I could write one, and timidly posted it. Then, a few more, over seventy now. Eventually, I found the AH coffee shop crowd, about my age, and clicked on it. I share coffee there now.

One day, I came to this cesspool area. Well, it's been able to rile my blood a bit, which is good for mental health. [That's an oxymoron thing, I believe.]

Others here know the history of how this area came into being better than I do. The short version is that it was intermixed with the general board, and that group got annoyed about 'the degradation' it had on their content. So, Laurel created this area as a separate entity. The same members can participate, but on different topics. [This place is rife with geriatrics by the way.]


As to Sapiosexuals... sugar, there aren't any intellectual levels like that here. Except maybe you and me.

I think it’s a combo overhead reduction/sunsetting/ liability backstopping.

Ratbag had to take a fluffer fee reduction.

And Butters had to start promoting MSN to help pay for chicken feed at the mother in law’s farm.
