It is, I went back and read some of her old posts as well as her profile description, in hindsight it was all eerily foreboding. I miss her wit, vocabulary and ability to speak her mind.

Such sad news. She was fierce but funny, open, witty and generous. She called bullshit and idiocy where she saw it, but with no snark and never for attention. She had challenges every day in her real life I can't properly imagine, even before she was ill.

She shone brightly here, but all too briefly. I'll miss her...

I'm so sorry to hear this.

Mrs MF and I nearly met Penuche at the London Alternative Market last summer. We didn't know much about her, but she had expressed an interest in going along, so we duly arranged to welcome her there. Unfortunately, her own schedule changed unexpectedly on the day, so our meeting never happened.

I had bumped into Penuche a couple times, it wasn't always a pleasant encounter, nor do I recollect it being excessively unpleasant. I had PM'd with her once, if I recall correctly, and it was a good conversation. My sympathies to her family.
