Penuche

this makes me sad.
I did not know her very well, but the few interactions I had with her were pleasant.
I admired her standing her ground when faced with adversity on the boards.
She will certainly be missed.

This is horribly sad. :(

It is, I went back and read some of her old posts as well as her profile description, in hindsight it was all eerily foreboding. I miss her wit, vocabulary and ability to speak her mind.

I remember some of her last posts she was ill, but I didn't realize she was that sick:( My condolence to those who were close to her, RIP:heart:

Such sad news. She was fierce but funny, open, witty and generous. She called bullshit and idiocy where she saw it, but with no snark and never for attention. She had challenges every day in her real life I can't properly imagine, even before she was ill.

She shone brightly here, but all too briefly. I'll miss her...

I'm so sorry to hear this.

Mrs MF and I nearly met Penuche at the London Alternative Market last summer. We didn't know much about her, but she had expressed an interest in going along, so we duly arranged to welcome her there. Unfortunately, her own schedule changed unexpectedly on the day, so our meeting never happened. :(
.

This is so very sad, H, thank you for letting us know :(

Penuche, dear Lit friend :rose:

From the few conversations we had, it was clear that she had a beautiful soul. Always at a loss of words at times like this. RIP sweet lady :rose:

so good to read all these...i know she rubbed some people up the wrong way, but to meet her was to see her real side...sparkly, funny...and raunchy! I'll treasure our time together.

She was a steady voice on the board...Lively, classy, curious, engaged, self aware.
Her AV unique and memorable...A stand out on any thread.

I pray that in my last days I manage to be as composed and witty and with so little evidence of self pity and such awareness of the blessings of life just as it gets cruelly cut short.

An inspiration.
I am grateful I knew her here.
Thank you Hornblende for letting us know so we can grieve and note her passing from this life, however belatedly.

I am very sad for this loss. I have been and will continue to miss her.

I had bumped into Penuche a couple times, it wasn't always a pleasant encounter, nor do I recollect it being excessively unpleasant. I had PM'd with her once, if I recall correctly, and it was a good conversation. My sympathies to her family.

Pagan, female, 40s. I'm not here to entertain you, nor am I here to decorate your world. My time is limited, and if I can't take it for granted, you certainly can't. I don't do indirect. I am not nice for the sake of it, and if I'm angry with you, you will know it. Understand that, and your PM or email might be welcome. :) Incidentally, "no" means "no", just as it does in real life. Don't make me have to spell out what I will do to you if you attempt something I don't consent to, I hate watching grown men soil themselves.

Nature is very exact in the matter. It hurts just as much as it is worth.
