I submitted a story on October 27 and it has been pending for more than two weeks. How long does it take to review?

No one knows what's happening. Some stories are getting approved quickly, others languish forever. The site owners have not communicated any reasons why.

That’s awful - I’m so sorry. There appears to be multiple things going on, but the site has said nothing and so we are all blindly groping around for some rationale.

If deleting and resubmitting hasn’t worked for you, there must be some other factor at work, I know some people have had rejections after a number of weeks (as opposed to immediately).

Whatever is going on, it sucks to be caught up in it . The only thing I can add is that it’s not just you. While many stories do get published fine, a significant minority don’t and it’s awful to be in that second group.
