Pending for 1½ week

I've written a few stories, that all got approved in 2-3 days. My latest story (a rework of my original story) has been stuck as pending for 1½ week! is this normal?

I submitted a story edit on 8/21 and it is still pending as of 9/10. Has your edit been approved yet?

2 stories pending for 2 weeks. I've left several emails but they go unanswered. Is this site still active? Should I give up and stop posting my stories here? - Thanks for any feedback.

I've written a few stories, that all got approved in 2-3 days. My latest story (a rework of my original story) has been stuck as pending for 1½ week! is this normal?

Took nearly two weeks for my edits to go through, they’re in a different queue than freshly submitted stories and it seems like the Mods/Admin are a bit stretched thin… I’ve seen several people complaining that their new submissions have been sitting nearly a week. I’ve also seen people say submissions put in as .docx take much longer than text submissions.

I’d say give it a little longer, then attempt to email and find out what’s the hold up. As a last resort if you don’t care about the ratings and comments on the original, edit the submission requesting the story be Deleted and resubmit the story as a new submission, hopefully it’ll move through faster.
