What is the reason my stories, Oedipus Ch. 1 & 2, are pending for about 2 weeks?
I wrote them the same way I did Oedipus Ch.1, and the first chapter was published immediately.

Being published immediately, especially for a new author, is unusual.

Two weeks is a fair while, though. I suggest a PM to Laurel, asking if there is a delay. You probably won't get a reply, but the chapter will either change status or get rejected.

Who is Laurel?
I am having the same problem.
I have a friend who submitted theirs after mine, and it was accepted. I am still waiting.
It's been 10 days or more.

Manu runs the technical aspects of literotica while Laurel takes care of reviewing and the 'final say' on accepting and publishing stories
My stories were eventually published. Some in 24 hours and others (Though rarely) after more than 2 weeks in the pending area.
I suggest that you continue waiting patiently. Try to use this thread to notify Laurel (POLITELY!) of your concern, if your story sits in the pending MORE than 2 weeks. Don't expect an answer, but she will likely look into it.

Until about 3 weeks ago, my stories were approved within 1-3 days. However, since then, 5 stories I've sent sit in the pending area.
My writing style and the words I use haven't changed. I never used AI to rewrite sentences (Although, since I was raised in a non-English speaking country, I use SIMPLE software to correct spelling and punctuation), and no sex involving minors is mentioned.
@Laurel, will you help, please? Thank you.
