Parties

I do half mixing, half brooding at parties. I've never found small talk particularly interesting, so half of my time is spent talking about interesting things with people, the other half is spent by myself, watching the other partygoers.

I never get bored of watching other people, especially in a social situation. It's instructive, entertaining and the snippets of conversation you can overhear never fail to give me plot bunny ideas

Of course it depends. But since I don't drink any alcohol at all that sometimes makes certain parties problematic for me, lol.
But when I'm on a party where I know some people it's alright and I do a lot of talking and walking around. But if i'm on another party I usually end up in the corner waiting for the next possibility to leave.

WEll, I did go to a few cool parties, lol - probably because I made them that way

1998: summer, sweltering, me in a pair of white levi's and black platforms, and a black designer vest with beige pinstripes, unbuttonned just enough for see cleavage, no bra. Girlfriend, who had just about the most perfect breasts and ass I had ever seen at that moment in my life, in flowing black dress pants, and a sheer black tank . . . no bra. LOL - Well, no one could figure us out. That's all I'm going to say.

What point? It was a party!
