Paris Hilton is over-rated.

A friend of mine and I got into a back-n-forth about that. He's of the opinion that she's overrated, and not "that hot". I maintain that if she were walking down the street and I didn't know who she was, I would go "Wow, that's a beautiful woman".

Of course, he had to concede that he wouldn't kick her out of bed for eatin' crackers, either.

But, is that much of a thing with others? You find that people (or yourselves) have annotated tastes in the opposite sex (or I suppose the same sex, if you float that way) based on PR?

Paris is attractive, I guess ... in a superficial kind of way. I have different tastes in regard to certain parts of her anatomy. I'd still do her, but she's a lot lower on my list of hot celebrities.

I don't think PR has anything to do with whether I find someone "hot." Something about them either gets my attention or it doesn't.

Rachael Weisz from The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, is not normally the kind of woman I lust after, but for some reason something about her makes me go "Yowsa!"

Jessica Simpson, from a purely physical standpoint, is very attractive, but I gather she needs a few more IQ points.

She's fairly well constructed. At least her boobs are real. She's malnurished and has no muscle tone whatsoever.

Paris falls into that category of "plastic, attractive women". She's not ugly, but I can name dozens of celebrities I'd prefer over her, not to mention a number of people I know from my real life.

So yeah, definitely overrated. She never would be in Maxim if not for the sex tape.

She's a little ignorant of what most people do with their lives, given that she's never really stepped down from the ivory tower... but she gave a pretty detailed blow by blow of what she was doing with her own companies and the things she wanted to change in the future with regard to their investments.

I think Simpson is hotter, more curves = more hot in my book so long as nothin' gets flabby... but I think Paris outstrips her IQ-wise.

She suprised me, really. I'm more or less convinced if she wanted to talk over my head about high finance or marketing or whatnot she could quite easily.

I think the only reason Paris is popular is because she is skinny, and she is blonde.

I look at her, and all I can think is "Why?"
